Just what the Dryer Doctor ordered. Get this kit and not just a belt. Read on
My dryer starts up and squeals for 30 seconds or so and finally settles down and goes to work. It sounded like the belt was slipping. I was going to order a belt but decided to get the kit. Am I glad I did. Even thought the rollers looked o.k. I believe they are what was making all the noise. The rollers on my machine are the originals. The rollers are metal pipe over a metal post. The posts were drying out a bit from lack of grease and the friction is probably what was making the noise. The replacement kit was a perfect fit. Everything fit as it should on my model of Whirlpool dryer. What I noticed was the replacement rollers were not just a pipe but are equipped with actual bearings. I got everything put back together and my dryer runs great and sounds like a brand new machine. This was a great purchase option at a great price point that fixed my issue and is probably better than the original equipment.

All the parts I needed for the repair of my Maytag Dryer
My epic Maytag dryer (MGDZ400TQ2) would sluggishly start and then it stopped rotating at all. The “google research” information said that it was most likely a stuck roller wheel. This kit had four of the wheels and the tensioner pulley wheel and a belt. My neighbor and I disassembled the dryer and found the issue was a stuck tensioner pulley wheel. It was seized. This kit had the perfect replacement that included bearing in the middle of the pulley. The original wheel was a bushing with grease. We removed the pulley assembly since it was easier to replace that way. We also replaced the four wheels and cleaned the shaft mountings. The original belt was frayed and falling apart. The replacement belt was a perfect match replacement. Overall, it took us about 2 1/2 hours to replace all the parts, vacuum the inside of the dryer and test the unit. A little longer than others have stated for their replacements. I would recommend this product to friends. It is made in China. Good value for the product. Good luck repairing your dryer!

Extremely low lifespan!!
Worked perfectly…. For only six months. Te bearings seemed to just grind now and make a horrendous noise that sounds like the whole machine is falling apart. Definitely purchase a better brand because I am thoroughly unimpressed with these ones

One of the new tub wheels is squeaky, belt wrong length WGD8100BW0
Whirlpool Cabrio WGD8100BW0 electric dryerI really only needed the motor spring-loaded pulley wheel but I bought the whole kit. I needed a different belt as this one was too short for my Cabrio dryer. One of the tub wheels is squeaky even though I greased them a little. Don’t know which one and I’m not taking it apart again.

Saved the day!
My husband has never fixed a dryer before, and this worked the first time (we crossed our fingers and said a little prayer before starting it). He is handy, but also knows his limits and was able to do this without any issues. Tip – definitely have two people to disassemble dryer and TAKE PICTURES WHERE THE SCREWS GO AND LABEL THEM (they aren’t all the same size). Not sure who got the go ahead on screw placement during manufacturing, but it makes no sense and it is much easier in the long run for one person to hold the front while the other person figures out where it is connected by screws and wires and takes pictures along the way (or maybe a video?). Also, have a big area to lay the parts out while disassembled and working on it. We only fought twice and the dryer works now, so I’ll call it a win!

Kit is not correct for Maytag Bravos XL Dryer
This kit is advertised for use on the Maytag Bravos XL dryer but is not a complete kit and the belt is not correct size (too small). The Bravos dryer has 5 rollers, not 4. Also the idler pulley provided is a very cheap replacement. The original pully used a full-size impregnated lubricated bearing, the pulley in the kit only has a cheap “quarter bearing” insert pressed in on each side. We’ll see how long this one holds up. So I was only able to replace 4 of the 5 rollers and had to reuse the old belt. I didn’t return the kit since I needed to resemble the dryer right away as it was needed to complete the weekly washing task.The kit seemed like a good deal but as they say, you get what you pay for and in this case, a bit less. It would be helpful if the vendor could at least send me the correct belt size for the Maytag Bravos XL dryer.

Replaced the rollers, Idler Pulley and belt, immediately began squealing after it gained momentum. Reinstalled the parts on 2 separate occasions, same result, I ended up reinstalled old kit, no issues at all.
