    EXACTLY WHAT I’VE NEEDED…
This cookbook is the literal answer to my prayers. “I wish I didn’t have to do any extra dishes.” “I wish I had some new recipes that wouldn’t add more to my quarantine-fifteen weight gain.” “I wish I could cook dinner for my family in fewer steps.” I love all of Dana White’s cookbooks, because I know that I’m going to get healthy recipes that will be reasonable on calories and include ingredients that are whole and nutritious for my family. This one, though, is especially exciting because it allows me to do fewer dishes and after quarantining forever, I just want to never do dishes again. I’ve only made two recipes so far (both amazingly delicious and easy), but my kids went through the book and asked me to make the paella, the dinner nachos, and the enchiladas. I can’t wait to try the miso-glazed salmon and the coconut chicken.

Wonderful! Cannot say enough great things. Just fabulous!
I purchased this cookbook to make healthy meals with less stress. I also wanted more variety, as I keep cooking the same meals over and over again. THIS COOKBOOK IS FABULOUS! So far, I’ve made 5 recipes (Spatchcock Chicken, Meatball Heros, Ginger Shrimp, Chicken Pot Pie, and Barley Stew) and every single recipe has blown me away. Delicious! And SIMPLE! Who knew that you could get such great tasting food with so little fuss? I didn’t know. I recommend this cookbook to everyone. If you’re browsing here, definitely put this in your cart and buy it. In addition, there is so little clean up! Typically my husband does the dishes. He’s over the moon that there no longer is anything to clean up. It’s so simple and so delicious. Thank you, Dana Angelo White (author).

    Great Cookbook
A lot of cookbooks claim to be “healthy” but when you really get into the recipes you start to question how they added “healthy” to the title. These recipes are truly more on the healthy side and all the recipes I’ve tried have been good as well as required minimal work.Edit: “healthy” is a very subjective term as there is no standard definition. Healthy encompasses many different areas and will depend on what your health priorities are. Coming from a Registered Dietitian, I consider these recipes to be “healthy”.As a side note: a recipe over 400 or 500 calories does not make it unhealthy. Portion size is key if trying to reduce calories. Also, for the vast majority of people, 500 calories should not make up half of a persons daily calorie intake (as a 1000 calorie per day diet is simply not usually enough to meet the body’s energy requirements).

Easy Healthy take on Comfort Food
I love this book! This past year I invested in a good quality sheet pan, skillet and dutch oven. This book is perfect for using my new cooking “toys”.😄 I love that these recipes are one pan meals, healthy and easy. Also the beginning of the book reads like a tutorial on the different cooking vessels used. I know several reviewers noted that some of the recipes don’t have photos. It would be nice but it’s not a deal breaker for me.

    Meh
I enjoyed the style of this cookbook. It breaks down 10 perfect one pan cooking vessels, a list of kitchen staples to keep on hand, and 10 must have ingredients. There’s a section that gives details about each cooking vessel including what sizes to get, the ways to use each of them, how to clean them, how it will benefit your kitchen. Then the cookbook is broken into sections of recipes for each of the cooking vessels. It also labels all the recipes as gluten free, dairy free, vegan, under 30, and freezer friendly.Unfortunately this is where the book makes me angry. I knew going in this wasn’t a vegan cookbook. Out of the 100 recipes, I believe around 30 are labeled as vegan. In actuality, only 6 are and that’s if you allow recipes with parmesan topping (which vegans don’t, but easy enough to omit). The vast majority of these ‘vegan’ recipes call for eggs. Feta cheese. Ricotta cheese. Mozzarella cheese. Butter. Cheddar cheese. Buttermilk. Greek yogurt. Provolone cheese. It was ABSURD. If this V title was changed to ‘vegetarian’ I would have no issue. But the mislabeling really irked me. Most people won’t have issue with this though. Personally to me, cheese loaded recipes aren’t healthy, but with the keto craze, I’m sure plenty might seek this out. This cookbook has 100 recipes and about 33 pictures. One picture for every 3 recipes isn’t too bad. I do prefer at least 50% because I’m a cookbook snob. Some of the pictures are just okay, and some are really aesthetically pleasing. Overall, a decent cookbook. No crazy ingredients needed. Most things look pretty good. My favorites were the sheet pan pancakes, egg sandwiches, and pizza do look like fun and easy meals to make for my family. I love sheet pan cooking, makes it very simple. Thanks netgalley for the ARC. All these opinions are my own.

    Great ideas, delicious meals
I love this book–so many good ideas! Every recipe I’ve tried so far has been a homerun. We especially liked the sweet potato tater tot casserole. With the feta cheese melted on top, the dish was more than the sum of its parts. Looking forward to trying the sheet pan egg sandwiches, the pancakes, and the orzo and turkey meatball dish.

May have to double the cook times
Everything has turned out really, really good, but the cooking times seem to be pretty short compared to the reality of my gas oven at sea level.GET THIS BOOK! The food is good and cleanup is pretty easy.
