    Good detailed workbook with a clear guided approach. The exercises are well organised and short enough that it doesn’t feel overwhelming. Ideally this books journey should be taken in a linear order, but I found the chapter layout helpful as when you’re looking for a quick guide to help you through a tough emotion, you can simply jump to that chapter. I bought this book for someone who was looking for a guided journal or workbook like this so I will have to wait for her review – but my only slight criticism would be it can be a bit surface level as I like to know why something works so that I can find my own method or way in case it doesn’t give me the result I was looking for. A lot of the exercises were things I was already familiar with so maybe the author too didn’t feel like they should overwhelm the reader by going too deep into certain topics. Over all a good workbook for someone looking for a guided daily exercise for dealing with certain emotional storms.
