    Taste great!
These were delicious. I was skeptical since I don’t typically like anything made with almond flour. They were easy to make and are a nice healthy alternative to a fall classic treat. The texture and moistness was almost as good as “normal” pumpkin muffins. They did seem slightly more dense and less airy. It’s a nice bonus that they are gluten free.

    Delicious and quick to make
I’ve been buying these mixes…Banana Muffin is my favorite. Takes only about 15 min to whip up a batch. I substitute coconut milk (instead of water) and use coconut oil (melted) as my oil and they are very moist. I also add 1/3 cup ground walnuts. A friend uses water as described on the box and hers come out a little dry. Also a tip I read online. When baking set oven to 425 (NOT 350 as box says) for FIVE MINUTES and turn down to the 350 for 15 min. They turn out perfect every time and as they box says, they are done when you press the top and it bounces back. They really do!

Love this Banana Muffin Mix- easy, always turns out perfectly, delicious!
I love simple mills mixes- they are all truly awesome. It allows me to use our eggs from our chickens and feel like we are making homemade muffins but without all the extra hassle of mixing the flour and all… these always turn out delicious in a loaf or muffin cups. I love to add chocolate chips to it. Super fast, super easy, and always delicious- I usually have a few boxes in my house.

Clean ingredients, picky autistic son approved!
It is SO hard to get my son to eat anything outside of snack foods and dry cereal as he is supremely picky about what he eats. I do my best to provide healthy, whole foods or minimally processed foods for my family and was delighted when I tried this muffin mix from the store recently and my son LOVES them (both Pumpkin and Banana)! The only problem is they are $8 in the store so I was even more delighted when I found out I could get them for about half that on Amazon subscription! This mix couldn’t be easier to make (just add water, a few eggs and 1/3 C of your choice of oil (I have tried EVOO, macadamia nut and avocado oils and have found that my favorite flavor profile is macadamia nut or EVOO or half and half – avocado oil doesn’t work or taste as good with these – just trust me), the muffins are so yummy and I love that they use a minimal, almond flour based ingredient list. The only thing that would make them better in my opinion is if they ditched the sugar and instead used Stevia or Monkfruit as sweetener. If they made a version with no added sugar it would be a home run for me! I actually add a couple tablespoons of monkfruit to the mix and think it tastes even better that way. I also like to add a few Lily’s chocolate chips to put them over the top taste wise. However, if you’re going to do that, my advice is to bake them for 5-10 minutes FIRST and then add the chips. If you add them before baking at all, they will sink to the bottom of the muffin pan.Even still, I love this mix as it is and I love that I can get it so much cheaper on Amazon than in the store! This will be part of my monthly order from now on!I sincerely hope this review has been helpful to someone else! And yes, I paid full price for this. Feel free to ask any questions!

    Good buy
The trick is to add chocolate chips obviously. They do not have a very banana-forward flavor at all. The muffins hold up well in lunchboxes. My 6 and 4 yo enjoy them, and they have discriminating child palates. Delicious enough where everyone eats them, but they’re not losing their minds about them basically being cupcakes like with some muffin mixes. Cheaper here than at our grocery store.

    delicious
my son loved this so much!!!

    Simple Mills Almond Flour
    Good brand.

  8. NatJH

Don’t like the taste at all
This is a healthier version to making muffins but I did not like the taste at all. Didn’t taste like pumpkin at all. I love the banana one especially if you add a ripe banana to it.
