I love these throws/blankets. I’ve purchase’s 4 of them; 2 for myself and 2 for my 88 y.o. mother. One will be on the sofa & one in my car. It feels like a nice, warm hug. For a person with anxiety (me), these are very comforting and really help. The larger one that I have weighs 10 lbs and the smaller one weighs 7 lbs. My 2 small dogs love getting under it with me! It’s “Cuddlesville” around here. We highly recommend!

Suitable for one queen bed sleeper.
Perfect size for me in a queen bed when my hubby doesn’t prefer the weighted blanket situation. We had a much larger, heavier weighted blanket I’d place on my side of the bed, which inevitably would end up crawling and pulling covers off my husband’s side during the night (that thing must be at least 15 lbs). This is lighter weight, but still gives me that weighted blanket comfort & pretty much stays put. The blanket is nicely made and I love the fun leaf shape; makes it look like an accent on the bed, rather than just a functional blanket. I’m unsure, however, how this will be laundered, should it need it to be. Happy with this purchase so far.

I am a massage therapist and I use this in my practice, after experiencing another therapist use a similar more expensive version. It’s great!! It’s washable!! The leaf design is really nice!! When I bring it home my kids fight over it so I will probably get some for Christmas.

Soft and comforting but large
Very soft and comforting, inducing deep sleep. Measure carefully to make sure you want this size – this was much larger than I expected from an “lap blanket” and with the weight the large size makes it awkward to move around. But that is my own fault for not paying more attention to the measurements.

It helps and it’s pretty
I originally bought this to travel with since carrying my enormous weighted blanket was not doable. I have taken it on several car rides and placed it on my lap or across my shoulders (I’m the passenger – I would never drive with this on). It helped.It has since migrated indoors to live on my couch and I use it all the time while I’m trying to relax from my day. It looks nice there too and so I don’t ever put it away. It’s nice to be able to easily reach for it when needed. The shape is beautiful but not necessarily always practical in real life because I’m tall. It can leave parts of me uncovered that I would like to be covered. It’s as square as it can be but with the leaf shape but sometimes that’s not enough.The velvet fabric is lovely but the texture also collects pet hair very easily. Quick swipe with a lint roller takes care of that though. Overall I love the feel of it, but I think I would buy the one with smoother fabric instead just because of the pet hair situation

Decent size, a tiny bit smaller than expected but true to size from tip to tip and the widest point of the leaf. Color has a bit more blue in it than i originally thought for a “green” item but still fits the general vibes of my bed

I’m not sure what other people have received but myblanket was very poor quality and definitely not velvet or weighted. I order the 7lb one and paid almost AU$100! When issuing a return label they wanted me to pay return postage, which is fine for a change of mind return but definitely not ok for a product that does not match the description.
