Perfect weight. Nice, soft cover. I bought two. No bad smell. Warm, but not hot. My complaint and why it’s 4 instead of 5 stars is that the ad said QUEEN. This blanket fits right on top of my queen mattress with no overhang. But maybe that’s how weighted blankets are supposed to be?

The softness and weight of this blanket is on point. This is my first weighted blanket and I am glad I purchased this one. The quality is excellent. It is a warm blanket so if you run hot like I do, it might be too much. I am occasionally too hot while sleeping but I don’t think it’s the blankets fault… damn menopause… ugh!! 🙂

Great weighted blanket
This blanket is pretty good overall. I have never used a weighted blanket before and never really saw one up close but I have heard good things about it from other people. One time at a Christmas gift exchange, someone brought a weighted blanket and it was a very popular item that kept getting traded. Everyone wanted one. This blanket is really well made from what I can tell. There are pockets within the blanket that feel like have plastic beads or something inside. I think that is what contributes to the weight of this thing. One thing to point out is that this blanket is heavy when compared to other blankets. Yes it is only 15 lb but when you’re trying to fold this thing, it takes a little more effort to do. It weighs on you and keeps you warm it makes you feel secure which is supposed to help you to sleep and relax better. The material is very soft and feels like a soft fur type of material. I am happy about this product overall and I would recommend this as an option to consider trying if you are looking for a weighted blanket. Also another thing to point out is that the size of this blanket is really big. I think they sell them in mattress sizes so you will just need to get one that will fit your bed or if you’re using it just on your sofa, you can pick the size that is right for you.

A Cozy Hug in Blanket Form
I wasn’t sure what to expect since I’d never tried a weighted blanket before, but I have to say—this one feels pretty wonderful. It’s every bit as heavy as the description says (15 lbs!), but once you spread it out, the weight is nice and even thanks to the stitched pockets. It feels more like a gentle hug than anything else.The fleece side is soft and smooth, and the sherpa side is warm and fluffy. It’s definitely cozy, but not stuffy—I stayed comfortable through the night without overheating. I don’t find myself tossing it off like I did with my old blanket, which makes for a more restful night’s sleep.It is hefty (I joked that the delivery box felt like a giant bag of cat litter!), so it’s not the type of blanket you’ll be tucking in tight or carrying from room to room. But for curling up on the couch or sleeping through a chilly night, it’s just the ticket. For the price, it’s a solid value—and you betcha, it’s earned a spot on my bed this winter.
