BEST Meal Prep for beginner
Let me say.. this book is AMAZING. I have a fast food addiction and I’m also ADHD. Cooking every night stresses me out and I think I’ve gained like 10 pounds just in the last two weeks. This not only has recipes, but complete guides for shopping list. It has anything from breakfast, lunch dinner, and smoothies. I’m hoping to use this book to begin my healthy food journey and change my eating habits. The intro to this book has a very personal vibe and I love how straightforward it is. It’s also a hardcover book which I love. Super easy to flip pages and every single page contains a picture of what you’ll be making. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Easy, delicious, nutritious, and great for tracking calories and macros
Honestly this might be the best recipe book I’ve ever purchased. It has TONS of recipes that are simple, nutritious, and made with readily available ingredients. She has beautiful full color photos through the book. Each recipe has only about 5 steps or so for putting it together. Every recipe has been truly delicious and I’ve even made things I normally wouldn’t go for…like a kale sweet potato breakfast hash. I’d never order that anywhere, yet I made it and it’s honestly one of my favorite breakfast meals. Each recipe makes about 4 servings so you don’t have to eat the same thing every day for a week. Also, each recipe comes up with nutrition facts — calories, basic macros, and also sodium, fiber, sugar, and cholesterol. Buy this book of you are interested in cooking healthy delicious meals for 1 to 3 people and tracking nutrition. You won’t regret it.

Phenomenal recipes
I purchased this book based on the good reviews as a “starter” for meal prep. The recipes are fresh, delicious, and easy to prepare. They keep well in the refrigerator and provide quick, healthy meals for those days when I am just too busy or too tired to bother cooking. (not to mention clean up is a snap on those days). I love the liberal use of herbs and spices and the variety of vegetables and grains used in these recipes as well as the combinations of both which brings out flavors I had never considered combining before. The book is well-written and with easy-to-follow recipes and the “personal dialogue” that accompanies the recipes makes using this book that much more enjoyable. I love the way the sections are divided (breakfast, snack, cold/hot meals, salads, etc.) and the variety of meals is excellent. If you’re a beginning “prepper” like me or an experienced one this book fills the niche perfectly.

Cookbook
Very pretty book with terrific illustrations. Healthy recipes but I’d prefer more of the recipes that I saw online on FB.

Great Cookbook
I bought this book to give me inspiration for my weekly meal preps of breakfasts and lunches that I bring to work, while I may not follow recipes to the T, I do appreciate the time and effort that went into creating this great, low-calorie, diet-based cookbook. I really like that she includes all nutritional information at the bottom of the page and a very clear ingredient list on the side. I think there’s a pretty wide range in amounts of calories in each category of recipes which is nice to see.The one small downside is that depending on your diet needs, you may have to make some small adjustments to some of the recipes, but nothing too too major. For example: I weight lift 4 times a week and therefore I need to up the protein amount in some of the meals, but this is very simple to do and barely changes the recipe at all. Overall, it is a great cookbook!

Healthy food that doesn’t “taste healthy”
I’ve tried several different meals and so far, I’ve loved every one! Many “skinny” meals found in other places taste like boiled chicken and broccoli with no flavor, but these meals are full of flavor. The mix of spices in every meal keeps them exciting. This is definitely a cookbook I’ll continue to reach for frequently. My fiance is kind of picky with food and doesn’t like it when things “taste healthy,” but he’s liked everything so far as well. His only complaint is “too much tomato” for some dishes. If I replace regular canned diced tomatoes with the petite diced tomatoes, he doesn’t mind it so much.It doesn’t take too long to prepare the dishes. I’m slow at chopping, so that probably takes a bit. Overall, the instructions are easy to follow and the pictures show how you can plate it nicely. Some of the meals we’ve tried with fiance (picky eater) reviews:* Freezer Breakfast Croissant Sandwiches (they’re only 200 calories, but super delicious!! This one is definitely a winner! I’ve made at least 3 batches. Fiance loves this one too)* Skinny Gumbo (very tasty, but fiance said too much tomato)* Burrito Bowl (I couldn’t get the sauce to taste right, but everything else, including meat seasoning, was great)* Zucchini Noodles with Turkey Meatballs (SO TASTY!! I was afraid this would “taste healthy,” but they turned out great! Even my fiance liked it)* Tikka Masala (fiance said too much tomato)* Greek Bowl (fiance said it tasted like yogurt, but I probably had portions wrong with the cucumber and he’s not a huge fan of Greek food or Greek yogurt to begin with. The chicken was seasoned perfectly. I ended up cutting it into pieces before grilling so it would cook better on our electric stove top)* Chili (Great flavor, may add shredded chicken the next time I make it)* DIY Pizza Plate (Great snack. Fiance loves it and frequently requests it)* Buffalo chicken celery sticks (another great snack)Again, the flavor is great and this is a cookbook I’ll continue to reach for.

Inaccurate calories, somewhat inspiring recipes
I’m looking at the recipe and the calories and already know it’s way off. 4 oz of chicken breast is about 190 calories. Now add in hummus and pita bread… there is no way this recipe clocks in at 205 calorie. I bought this book so I could plan around the calories already calculated for me and now the nutrition information is useless.

This cookbook has some amazing delicious recipes inside, we use it probably most often of all our cookbooks in the house. I bought this book because I was trying to be more aware of my calorie intake and it had some great on the go lunch ideas.Reading through it though I almost would put a trigger warning for those that might have an eating disorder, there is an area she talking about splurging and spoiling herself and adding a spoonful of sour vream to a recipe. A spoonful of sour cream won’t hurt. Aside from some worrisome comments within the text it’s a fantastic book!

After losing a load of weight I lost motivation and put some back in. Food became boring and I couldn’t work out how to meal prep, everything I made didn’t last. This book has completely changed that and is one of the few books where a good 90% of the recipes I actually want to eat! Usually a book only contains a couple. The prep is well laid out and it also teaches you about the way meal prep helps.Highly recommend!

This really is a game changer. The book is very well rounded. I love the comments and tips the writer gives. It is set out so beautifully and with pictures. It is worth the price tag. You will not be disappointed!

Okay, guys. I just got this cookbook delivered today and I’m beyond excited to try Rhee’s recipes. She has amazing suggestions for ways to increase protein content and lower calories in meals – the perfect combo for me since I’m trying to lose some weight but also need to eat more protein. Her humor is on every single page and that got me to read her “Introduction” bit because her writing is actually a joy. She’s so relatable and is a genius! This is exactly the cookbook I needed and I’m so grateful I listened to other peoples’ reviews and bought it. I can’t wait to try her Korean bibimbap!!Thank you, Rhee, for this amazing book. You’re going to help me get my health back on track, I feel it.BUY THIS BOOK.
