Must have for busy families!!
I cannot recommend this book enough. Every single recipe in here is simple, easy to cook and sounds delicious. They all take 35min or less and have a very simple ingredient list. I love to cook and love testing my skills but with young children it’s hard to pull off fancy meals for dinner. This book has given me so many ideas for meals that are truly delicious but simple and doable with young kids running around. If you are experiencing decision fatigue when it comes to how to plan meals for your young family, get this book. And if you’re on the fence about it, just get it!! The sanity it will bring back to your busy life is well worth the investment! And you’re supporting a wonderful author in the meantime.

SO easy and yummy
Don’t question it! Just buy the book!Love love love this cookbook. I’ve had it for about 8 weeks now and I consult the cookbook nearly every night to decide what to make for dinner. I’m a working mom with a ten month old (who’s a lovely stage five clinger), and sometimes it’s just *too much* to dice a few vegetables at night. I love cooking and making long-form recipes when I have the time and freedom, but that’s just not this stage of life right now! This cookbook is filled with super easy (bag of mixed vegetables? Check!), super yummy (30 min minestrone? Absolutely!), nutritious recipes. But here’s the special bonus: it’s also filled with loving, understanding support from a wonderful mom who’s “been there” and knows that kids don’t always like highly spiced, elaborate meals and have no idea how much time, money, and thought go into dinner time lol. I’ve followed Yummy Toddler Food on Instagram since I was pregnant, and so picking up this cookbook was the natural next step. Thank you, Amy, for the time you spent creating this work!

Didn’t know I needed this!
I certainly did not need another cookbook, but wait, yes I actually did. I was swamped with bookmarked recipes on my phone and a collection of random family hits across a million books. I bought this because I like the author and her approach to feeding the family, but it far exceeded expectations. The recipes and ideas seemed almost too simple at first glance, but almost everything we’ve made has been an instant hit. The ingredients are easy to find and the steps are simple to follow and even modify, if necessary. The sausage broccoli sheet pan meal and spinach quesadillas already make weekly appearances for us and the skillet meals are so easy and delicious. Even the easy suggestions for making sides more appealing and how to navigate a stress-free dinner table are so helpful. It’s a beautifully finished book and wonderful to have it in print, also – it stays in my kitchen, already has food stains on the pages and notes in the margins. Thank you for creating this!

The most realistic cookbook I’ve ever owned
As a longtime follower of Amy’s @yummytoddlerfood account, I have made many of her breakfast and snack recipes on a weekly basis for years. Knowing the quality and ease of those recipes, I had high expectations for this book, and it did not disappoint. The dinners are SO DOABLE and SO YUMMY, and she has so many tips and tricks on stocking the pantry/freezer, using leftovers, allergy swaps, etc. We literally made a recipe the night we received the cookbook (veggie burrito bowls) because we had everything on hand, and I am by no means a talented home chef with extensive food variety at home. My 3 yo (and I, really) love that every recipe has a picture because it’s been so easy and fun to look through and pick things out together. Buy this cookbook and stress less about feeding your family!!!

Quick, easy, delicious, and healthy
I reach for this book whenever I’m feeling wiped out and lack any sort of creativity when wanting to make dinner for my family. Sometimes I feel dumb for needing a book to tell me such simple and easy recipes (example: rotisiree chicken with sides) , but sometimes it’s just easier to open a book and have it tell me what to make and how to make it. The author is super creative and the recipes I’ve tried have been really tasty & easy to prep. I also love that they’re all pretty healthy and easy to scale up if I want to freeze some down for later. Would highly recommend to any tired parent lacking creativity with meal prep. This book has been great for my family and I keep finding myself returning to it week after week. I love the sweet potato nachos!!

Sanity-saving cookbook!
I bought this cookbook for myself and am purchasing another as a gift. A mom-friend borrowed my copy and told me it was the cookbook she never knew she always needed. I feel the same way! There are so many yummy recipes in here that are easy to make and have a reasonable number of ingredients. I LOVE all the suggestions for swaps if you have allergies or don’t have something on hand. In all honesty, I have three picky eaters in my house (ages 3, 6, and 43), two of whom have refused most of these meals at first try, but I’m not giving up! Plus, if the rest of the family doesn’t eat it, I still have amazing leftovers for myself. Also, this is the only cookbook where I’ve actually read the extra pages in addition to just the recipes, there are so many tips in this book for stocking your pantry, keeping food fresh, etc. Every busy parent should have this cookbook!!

Good for Older Toddlers
The quality of this book is great. Good, thick durable hard cover and the pages are really sturdy and thick. Well bound and good quality photos. The recipes are quick, simple and easy. Great for parents of older toddlers and kids!

Get it!
Amazing book for moms wanting recipes both kids and adults can like. Most are simple and can be made in under 30 min. Hidden veggies everywhere and not a ton of ingredients needed. A must have for moms of little ones. We make these recipes on repeat and the toddlers eat it!

This book has saved my life, 1 million stars. The recipes are easy, delicious, and actually take the amount of time stated.

I follow the author on Instagram and love the free recipes on there so grabbed the book. I find everything quick and easy as well as minimal ingredients so each recipe isn’t expensive to make and takes the pressure of dinner and lunchbox snacks

I follow the author on Instagram and find a lot of her recipes really useful (and popular with the kids!), so was excited to try her book. We’ve tried a couple of different meals and so far the kids have loved every one. And, true to her word, they are all ready very quickly – taking a lot of stress out of the evening rush before bedtime.A few points to note -1. There are a few ingredients or recommended shortcuts that are common in America, but will need substituting in the UK (Not a dealbreaker, just one to be aware of) so may add a bit of time to the recipes.2. There are a lot of fish-based recipes (at least, as a non-fish eating family, we thought it was a lot) – but the author makes some great suggestions for substitutions and things throughout the book. Now I’m just hoping that Amy does a followup book with all her baking-type recipes for snacks (muffins, cereal bars, etc) – because those are also great!

I have three opinionated eaters, they are funny about textures and taste etc but they are all excited to cook the recipes in the book. I think they love the idea of having many options to choose from, with something each of them like. I am looking forward to cooking with them and hoping they will actually eat. I am happy that the book has them excited.

Absolutely love this book for super, easy, quick convenient meal ideas! Great ideas on shortcuts and how to cook guilt free food in short time (store bought sauces etc). Highly recommend this book to anybody who has less time and wants to have a good selection of meals for the week days! EXCELLENT BOOK! Hope she writes one more for desserts too. 10/10.
