Description

Find the healing and hope you long for when you take time to experience God’s presence each day.

Incorporate a new rhythm for those days when life feels too hard through the daily practice of receiving and releasing—receiving God’s encouragement, instruction, and truth to start your day and releasing to God all that’s weighing you down at the end of each day. He’ll set you on a path toward healing.

In her newest devotional, New York Times bestselling author Lysa TerKeurst helps you stay connected to God and continue loving others even in the middle of discouraging, disappointing, or even devastating circumstances. Experience 50 days of morning and evening devotions complimented with beautiful color photography of significant locations where Lysa has worked through her own healing. Each devotion contains:

A Bible verse to start your dayA statement of truth to remember throughout your daySpace to write and release something back to God at the end of your dayA prayer to receive before you go to sleep to better prepare for tomorrow

Without these crucial components woven into the routine of our harder seasons, connecting with the Lord can very quickly begin to feel overwhelming and like just another item on our to-do lists. Lysa understands this struggle and wants to create a sacred space where women can bookend their days with God by simply showing up, soaking in truth, and being reminded they’re not alone on their healing journey.

In her gentle, unassuming way, Lysa walks you through the pages of You’re Going to Make It, where you will:

Receive the biblical truth and encouragement you need when hurtful situations leave you worn out and unmotivated to spend time with God.Escape the loneliness of trying to heal on your own with trusted wisdom from a Bible teacher and friend who understands your pain and wants to help you move forward.Be reassured that though this difficult season is part of your story, it will not be your whole story.

This difficult season doesn’t have to be a time of numbing the pain or going through the motions. Let this devotional help you get intentional and know that, though this may be a hard time, it can also be a holy time.

    BUY THIS BOOK! DON’T WAIT!
For the past 4 years, my husband of 34 years was living a double life. He had an affair with his intern 4 years ago and after I discovered the affair I thought he had ended it but he hadn’t. I have no words for the pain and devastation. The past 4 years have been a living hell. I never dreamed this could happen to us! This book has been such a comfort to me. Clearly Lysa has been through the same pain and she shares from her heart words of truth, encouragement, and life. I love this book and I look forward to reading the daily devotions every morning and every night; it brings me hope and helps me get proper perspective again. (And I’m so sorry that you, the reader, are in this same position! Please don’t give up…You’re Going To Make It!) Of the many regrets in your life, buying this book won’t be one of them!

    Lovely and uplifting healing devotional
I highly recommend this 50 day/night devotional! As I read thru it and remember God’s promises, I feel at peace and comforted. Lysa Terkeurst does an amazing job writing about healing and the power of prayer; you don’t feel alone on your journey to hope, laughter, and feeling love again.

You ARE going to make it
This devotional by Lysa TerKeurst is vulnerable and inspiring. It has a morning and evening devotional to read each day. It is filled with scripture and isn’t just to “hype you up” for your day. Each day it also has some space where you can reflect on your day and write something to release back to God! This devotional would be a great gift to a friend who is going through a season of struggle or a great purchase for yourself. Plus the design aesthetics are very lovely!

    It saved my life!
To say it saved my life might seem dramatic, but I truly believe God used this devotional to pull me out of a very dark pit. Last year I lost my fiancé to cancer. We found each other after both of us had navigated very painful divorces full betrayal. After losing my fiancé I fell in to a spiral of depression, anxiety, fear and hopelessness. It became so hard for me to do anything, especially the things I knew I needed to do to heal. Recently this devotional popped up and the title captivated me to the point that I immediately felt compelled to buy it. Every single devotional speaks to a piece of me that needs some healing. I truly feel like I am sitting with a friend that understands the journey and is pointing me back to Jesus. I love that there is a devotional for the morning and evening. I’ve been able to keep a commitment to myself that if I do nothing else for the day, because it’s one of those days that everything feels hard, I will at least start and end my day with this devotional. This is the first week in about 6 months that I have not had to leave work over panic and anxiety. This is the first week in months that I went out to dinner with a friend after getting off work. I wake up looking forward to grabbing this devotional and I end my day excited to open it again. It’s lead me to spend more time in prayer and more time in God’s word.If you are walking through a challenging season, I recommend you get this and make a commitment to yourself to use it everyday. It might just be the tool you need to readjust your perspective and walk out some healing. If you have a friend navigating some type of loss, don’t hesitate to get this for them!

Great book but Not a true devotional…
This book is beautiful written but if you’re looking for a true daily devotional that focuses on applying the Bible to your daily life this isn’t it. There was very little scripture and was more a story about the author and her struggles than Gods word. I’m only about 10 days in but plan to order another devotional to meet my needs and just read this on the side as an uplifting book.

    Beautiful Devotional!
Sometimes life deals you some hard blows and having gone through tough times herself, author Lysa TerKeurst has written a beautiful and compassionate devotional to give the reader hope in navigating these rough waters. Each devotional is consise and to the point with the author’s own experience with certain issues, scripture, special prayers, and different topics each day . . . morning and evening. I don’t typically read nonfiction except for an occasional devotional, but I plan on reading more of Lysa TerKeurst’s encouraging books.
