Are pressure washer pumps interchangeable?
Many pumps are. However, compatible replacement options do vary depending on your pressure washer’s engine shaft diameter & engine orientation, the original pump’s bolt pattern, and your engine’s horsepower.
What pump do I need if my shaft has a spline/gear instead of a keyway?
Your original pump was likely a strap-style (or bow tie) pump. That style isn’t made anymore. However, you can remove the spline and use your model number to find a replacement pump that you’ll install directly onto the shaft with a keyway.
Do I need a keyway for installation, and do your pumps come with one?
Our pumps do require a keyway for installation onto the engine shaft. If a keyway is pictured in the listing, it will come with one. If you need to purchase one separately, you can do so from our catalog.
Do I need to change the oil in my pump?
Many of our pumps don’t require oil maintenance, but some models do need oil changes. Generally, pumps with an oil vent port will need regular oil changes. Pumps without that port are sealed units and don’t need oil changes.

This pump mounts horizontal and can face any direction that allows the hose connections to be accessible. Pump needs at least 6HP to handle PSI. Pump head CANNOT be flipped, but pump can be mounted in different directions
Please note it is not recommended to run any pressure washer pump above its maximum PSI rating. Doing so can result in damage to the pump (not covered by warranty) and/or serious bodily injury

Performs great…once you get the old one off
This replacement pump is a super performer and a great value. Getting the old one off my 20-year-old Karcher though was nearly impossible. I almost gave up. One of the most tedious and frustrating things I’ve done EVER. It took 3 days and every variety of penetrating oil I had from WD 40 to Kroil. And wrecking bars and a long punch and a hand mallet. I beat on the old pump’s flange until pieces of the flange broke off. I go over this to stress that it is indeed a super easy replacement IF you can get the old one off. And I think the new pump preforms better than the original. But if the unit’s been on a while…well, it may not be worth the effort. I recommend removing the old pump before you buy a replacement

Overall size of pump, this is wrong for application
Wrong for application, did not give length of pump. However is a high quality pump just won’t work for me… I will continue to shop ROP. Service an delivery were phenomenal!

Easy and straightforward installation
Perfect replacement for the original water pump on my 19-year-old Karcher 2400 pressure washer. I opted for the standard pump without the brass front part since I only use the pressure washer once a year to pressure wash our pavers patio and 3 car garage driveway and the entire cinder block and concrete walls of our house. The pump is set up for use on the Karcher 2400 without any adjustment on the uploader valve which was verified by the very nice customer service lady who took my call the day after the pump was delivered. In about 30-45 minutes I had the washer running like nothing ever happened with the old pump. Pressure is just about the same as with the original pump.Very happy with the purchase. At 77 years old I can’t say I am looking to another 19 years of service on the pump, the pressure washer or the operator for that matter😒!!

Easy repair to karcher 2400
Bolted right up to karcher 2400 however I had to reduce the pressure relief valve 1 full turn the directions are easy to follow the engine kept stalling and I think it was because the safety spring on the throttle thought too much pressure so when I backed down the pressure runs fine more powerful than the old original pump took five min to install same bolt holes same drive etc

Well it took me really less than 30 minutes to take an old one out and put a new one back in place. What a surprise after reading some comments. I guess every case is different.Nevertheless thanks to the guys for quick shipping. New pump works great on my almost 20 year old Karcher 2400 psi pressure washer.

part fit ok…had to rotated it from what i would call proper orientation.but fit ok.only complaint would be it arrived in a box with not enough styrofoam in the box to keep it tightly packed so it destroyed the styrofoam and it was all inside the pressure washer pump housing and every little hole and opening. some blocking the water connection point. luckily i noticed and was able to remove prior to assembly and use. for something that cost nearly 60$ to ship you would think it would have been packaged nicer or even just in a bag to prevent that from happening.did arrive fast and did fit.works good so far.
