The Gentlest Guided Journal I’ve Found
I don’t usually go for guided journals, but this one caught my eye. I have practiced daily gratitude for many years, and find it to be grounding and necessary for me to keep perspective and center myself. But it’s been a long time since I kept a record of the practice, and recently I decided to re-establish the roots of my practice of gratitude by recording it in a journal. So when I saw “The Gentle Reset,” I decided to try something new.Each page allows for a morning and evening check-in, and offers a general affirmation for the day. The pages are undated, so you can start and stop at any time, and there’s no pressure to be so regimented as to generate feelings of guilt if you don’t make it into a daily habit. Every so often, there is a 2-week check-in page which allows you to notice your state of wellbeing over the past couple of weeks, identify what you’re doing that is working, and decide if there is anything you’d like to work toward changing. The questions and prompts are for thought more than anything, but there is space to jot down anything that comes to mind so you can check in with yourself over time and remember what you wanted to work on or note how your wellbeing shifts or changes.The book itself is unobtrusive. It does not scream “Health and Wellness!” but rather has a neutral color, a standard journal size, and embossed border and title which is quite pretty. There is a ribbon bookmark, an elastic band you can use if you want, and it slots right into your shelf of books, your tote or purse, or in the drawer of your desk. It’s the right size to travel with you.The layout and format make it easy to get started, as well as to pick up again after some time away. And perhaps what I like most is that there are no changes day to day. Each day allows you to put down what you’re looking forward to, the state of mind you intend to hold, and then what you accomplished or noticed during the day and what you’d like to carry forward. You can interpret these any way you like, and whatever beauty or good you notice at any point can be noted, appreciated, and referred to in the future to remind yourself of the small moments where you’ve paused to consider the good around you.If you enjoy or benefit from the practice of daily gratitude, if you need or want to begin a daily ritual of mindfulness, or if you hope to create a point of grounding in the morning and evening, this journal is an excellent choice. Straightforward, encouraging without demanding, and offering space without creating requirements, it can be a Gentle Reset no matter what walk of life you happen to be in.

Excellent journal, great quality and definitely gift able for anytime including yourself. The cover has a nice feel and attractive embossed gold lettering and border . It provides an elastic band to close or hold a spot.I like that this journal tells you how to use it and how simple the pages are to fill out . It really is a gentle reset you don’t have to commit to writing a lot.I enjoy the routine of morning intention and evening reflection and the regular format if each pageAs far as I can tell I don’t think the affirmations at the start of each day repeat at all it seems there are different ones all the way through which is nice .I like that the pages aren’t dated so you can pick up and drop off without having gaps if unused daysOver all it’s a great ease into developing a daily journaling habit and mindfulness routine. I enjoy it and would recommend it as well. Easy to carry since it’s thin and lightweight. And good value for the price.

A wonderful journal to make apart of your routine
I can’t say enough good things about this journal. I really like how there is a morning section and evening section. It was helped me be more mindful and aware. I love the today’s mantra and the phrases that are scattered throughout. It is so easy to use and will help if you have writers block. The cover is very well made and the pages do not feel cheap. Pen ink has not bled to the other side of the paper which is something I had experienced in the past with journals. The size I found to be perfect. If I need to take it somewhere I can even slip it into my purse, which is an average sized purse. This had become apart of my daily routine and I am very pleased with my gratitude journal. I feel it has had a positive impact in my life.

I love the idea that it fits in your purse. I love a place for everything vibe like gratitude, affirmations, could put daily prayer also and then reflection. I love the elastic page keeper and bookmark. I like the inspiration verses. It is very thin and wouldn’t last long. Not a good value for the money for what you get. The quality is good but pages could use some color to stand out and something more graceful for a title. Maybe different colors for like gratitude, reflection and all different categories. I will definitely use especially for trips.
