    love this book!
I am a mom of 3! I have a 20 year old daughter a 6 year old daughter and and I had a new baby 17 months baby boy and and I lost bit of my self all the non sleeping the new baby the changes that happened for me and my 6year old she was attached to me and it was always me and her and when the baby come it was hard on her so things stared to get a little bit out of control she stopped listening behaving in a way she wasn’t before some jealousy of her baby brother and he is getting attention and it’s taking away from me and her time. and the yelling stared i am not this tallying parent and I need to get back to that normal calm mom I was so this book is amazing it gives you step by step how do get back to that and gives you tolls and advices what to do and want not to do! Definitely will read it again and use all the information given to get to the point where I was before! It’s going to be a a lot practice effort and work I have to put in to make the changes I need to be the best mom and a parent I can be to my kids in a healthy environment and no more yelling!

  2. Really good, quick, read! This is for any type of parent and I highly recommend it. I bought it, read it and passed it on to a friend that needed it.

    Quick, easy, super helpful read!
I loved how short and to the point it was! Easy to finish and full of information even for the parent that doesn’t yell.

    Short but good basic lessons
It’s a good book as an intro to gentle parenting. It is definitely short and a quick read, read it in less than an hour and I’m not an avid reader by any means. But if you are interested in gentle parenting this is a good start and then look into more detailed gentle parenting books.

very helpful and practical. thank you!
On the search for the right way to handle and change and this has been such great info. I still believe in spankings as I am a Christian and know this is 100% what we should do. But the yelling is definitely not what God has in mind and I’m super thankful for these practical explanations of how to have a peaceful home with 2 toddlers. I saw people complaining about the toddler info however she goes through every stage of the child all the way up until 17yrs in order to explain the changes taking place- to undestand what the kids are going through at each stage so that you are prepared. This was super helpful and i definitely reccomend this for anyone having temper issues with the kiddos! Just be sure to also correct as well as be positive otherwise kids will groe up thinking that there are ni consequences for their bad choices!

    Be patient with yourself
This book is full of tips and suggestions that are written briefly and to the point without too much fluff, so it is a quick read. A really important part of the book is the reinforcement of the parent reading the book. It offers plenty of space to accept yourself and if necessary forgive yourself. While it places the responsibility on the parent to learn and practice positive parenting, it doesn’t take the angle that you are bad or wrong for mis-steps. It encourages open, honest communications and provides step by step ideas for achieving that and improving connection with your children.

    So short!
I will review again when I’ve finished reading. Currently just questioning how anyone can call this a book- it is less than 50 pages. Highly annoyed that I spent this much for so little, guess that’s my fault though for not checking the page count. I’ll report back after the completion.

    Better then whipping at first
okay price-wise is the great artworks pretty decent too so let’s get down to the meat and potatoes of why would you want this book hey if you were a new mother it might give you useful tips and tricks on how to deal with your child without resorting to anger are yelling or screaming or pretty much lowering yourself down to your child or toddler’s level adult to my give you more tools to use later on when dealing with them when they’re having their terrible twos the gods know we need all the help in that state and three you might want to try reading it with them reading books with your kids can actually increase their comprehension and learning so you have a nice book that you can either read by yourself or with your child giving you two bonding time I highly recommend you pick up this book if you were trying to find ways to discipline your child without resorting to capital

Didn’t find this book to have any thing new that wasn’t already available online for free. It is a more of self-reflection book, which is fine but now help the parents break out of the mold. Simply saying “identifying your triggers” and then “leave the room to calm down”, what if you child is screaming in the grocery store? Or what if they are holding on to your leg? Most of the time parents get frustrated when they have errands to run or deadlines to meet, and there is nothing in this book about how to address these types of situations with kids.I think we all know “you need to spend more time with your kids and not let them watch tv”, that is obvious. But who is going to come and cook and clean for you and your family? and also do your job? $17 for the book is quite expensive when there are no real examples on how to implement positive parenting strategies.
