Helpful for moms with kids of all ages

A delightful daily encouragement in motherhood
As a mother of 8 children, it may sound silly that I have not read many books on motherhood. I bought this because I wanted to support a fellow homeschooling momma and in a word, it is a delight to read in the mornings. My heart is so encouraged by the words of psalm 121 as they are woven throughout the short devotions and applied to everyday situations. My children range from a 23 year old married daughter who has two boys (with one on the way) to a 10 year old. This book is for seasoned mommas, those just beginning on this heartbreakingly wonderful journey and everyone in between. The original artwork sprinkled on every page gives the book a lingering over beauty feel. Buy one for yourself and for at least two other mothers you know.

Every Mother Needs This!!
I was given this book by my daughter for Mother’s Day. Although it was primarily written for young mothers, and I am in my 60’s, it touched me in so many ways. I highly recommend this book for any mothers in your life whether facing good times or bad. It’s packed with many life lessons, valuable verses and beautiful calming watercolors.

Lift your Eyes, is a beautifully put together devotional for Motherhood.The water color pictures Whitney painted are so beautiful. When I open to a new devotional and see a new painting, I feel joy.Each day I read a new devotional. Whitney gives lots to think about, pray about, and I love she gives verses from the Bible to memorize for when one is weary. I have taken to writing them in my notes app on my phone.Another surprise, is I found a book recommendation in one of the sections, which I found really cool.I am not even half way through this book, and I had to buy another copy and send it to my best friend! It’s that good!The material quality of this book is unmatched to anything I’ve ever owned. The hard bound copy feels high quality, and so do the pages. This devotional book is simply beautiful! The devotionals are a perfect length to sneak in between the needs of your children and household, they are rich in teaching and easy to digest. Every section has wonderful encouragement to mothers at every stage and the artwork throughout evokes a sense of peace.
