Our Christian ministry group’s favorite devotional book!
I have been a big fan of devotional books for many years, and like to purchase one for my Christian family and ministry friends each year at Christmastime. Cherie Hill’s * Whispers of Hope* is my favorite- I have purchased two others in her collection and liked them almost as much, and definitely more than 70% of the others I’ve owned by other authors. The imitation leather cover has a * Real leather bound book* feel, And the beautiful flower illustrations along the border, and colorful ribbon bookmark make it really impressive for giftgiving, as well. I hope to add all of her titles to my devotional collection. I have owned two others but ended up giving them away to friends and ministry group members. Highly recommend this beautiful devotional book to anyone. Mz hill’s writing style is definitely anointed with the Holy Spirit- she has a real talent for conveying the messages in the Bible in a concise fashion which touches the heart & soul …and fills you with hope, when you are feeling a bit downtrodden. If you were hesitating about buying this devotional, don’t!!

It’s God Speaking Directly to Your Heart Giving Strength and Healing to the Weak and Broken Hearted.
I have been walking with the Lord for close to 30 years and this is by far the most amazing, heart connected devotional I’ve ever read. It’s literally like God is speaking directly to you. I have read some of the comments about not references the scriptures used and it coming from inspiration from outside sources and not just the Bible. And, while those comments are valid and warrant consideration, let’s just be real here. God does not want us to be caught up in Religion, He wants us to be caught up in Relationship with him. The Bible is the inherent word of God, but it’s not the only thing he has to say to us. He speaks to us, directly, when we seek him and have relationship with him. The author’s words come from her time sitting in his presence and seeking his heart and a genuine relationship. There is NOTHING unbiblical in her words. And, we need to understand that everyone is in a very different place in life and their walk with the Lord. We all connect differently because he made us to be different. This is another way for him to communicate his true heart to us and is an invaluable resource for many who are in a place that they just needbto hear him, feel him, and know him. I have purchased 4 of these in just the last couple of weeks. It has helped me to reconnect with God and pull me out of a very low place in my life, of psychological warefare, that the enemy has been bombarding me with. I was weak and tired. I was loosing the battle. The words in this devotional were EXACTLY what my heart needed to hear. They took root and began to overshadow all the pain and negative thoughts. I am now back to winning because my strength has been renewed by the power of his love for me, that this devotional helped me to see again. Where we are weak, God is strong. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!

Beautiful devotional
This book is beautiful. I feel closer to having a personal relationship with God. I got this book for a close friend when she moved away. She loves it and told others about it. So I had to order one for myself, and I’m glad I did. I wish I had got it sooner.The book is beautifully written and the cover and pages are colorful.

This book renewed my faith
I’m a young adult and have strayed away from my relationship with God and Jesus. One day I went into my bosses office to discuss work related things with her. I asked her about this book that was laying on her desk. She pushed it over to me and said I should read today’s devotional. I didn’t hesitate. I opened the book and read the words ‘The Plan’. As I read the words that Cherie Hill wrote my eyes filled with tears and my heart felt so full. I hadn’t felt the Holy Spirit in MANY years. My interest in God and my Savior Jesus had been reignited. I have now since bought my own Bible along with other devotionals. I am truly happy for the hug God gave me that day. I pray others find this book and find the same comfort and peace that I did. God is so loving and so truly amazing.

Easy to read devotional peefect for a new Christian
I purchased this devotional over a month ago with the intent to read it daily, find encouragement and growth in the faith. It’s very difficult to find a deep, well written, Biblically based devotional.This book is a daily read divided into sections such as Anxiety, God’s power, Provision, Sin, Help, Joy, Grace and Worry to name a few. A scripture verse is given for each day and a short reading.The book is a beautiful color and textured feel. It’s compact with easy to read font. The reason for 4 stars is I like a devotional with more depth. It’s surface level, basic encouragement, some very good, but the knowledge or relationship depth is not there. If someone is looking for a devotional for a new Christian this is an excellent option.
