This came in the nick of time. My old homedics sound machine was slowly dying. I had to turn it almost full volume to get any sound. This one is a different shape that’s easy to hold in my hand. You can either use it with batteries or plug it in to an electric power source. It functions either way just as easily. It’s a great value for my money. I’ve slept with a sound machine for years. Easy to understand directions. It’s of a great quality work. Feels solid.

This machine is a lifesaver! My husband has a hard time sleeping because of the noise of his tube feeding. This helps mask that, and allows him to get the rest he needs to heal. It’s sound quality is excellent, and it’s very light and portable, making it easy to carry with us when we have to be somewhere else. It’s a great value for a small price.

Love this sound machine
I love this sound machine. Most used sounds are rain and white noise. Helps my baby relax and go to sleep. I also love that when you have batteries in there, you can just unplug the cord from the machine and it stays on. Nice for when I leave the room and rock the baby somewhere else, so I don’t have to bend and plug it back in, I can just grab it and take it wherever I need to go. Also helpful to bring in the car. The summer night sound has been useful when baby isn’t sleepy, just fussy, he finds the sounds interesting and calms down.

I enjoy listening to the sound of the surf while going to sleep. There’s several other sound options. So simple to hook up and use. I love the volume control this unit provides. It’s just the right size for me to travel with, I use it nightly whether at home or in a motel. The original one that I purchased years ago didn’t allow me to take it with me, it was a larger unit. This sets on my night stand and still allows room for my other penal items.

This is a nice sound machine. It has great sound. The buttons are a good size. Most other sound machines have ridiculously small buttons. It also has good variety of sounds. I liked this machine so much, I ordered another one for the other bedroom.

I sleep well with this sound machine. I live with 3 other people and it blocks the sound out of them doing activities in the house, while I need to stay asleep. It works great and I love the beach waves sound. It’s soothing.

** UPDATE: this noise machine is still going strong EIGHT YEARS LATER with daily use. We have multiple machines and the quality is consistent. **** UPDATE: It’s been five years now, and my original review below still holds true. Incredible product! **I purchased this noise machine to replace another brand in 2017. We use it every night for both of our children, and it has been foolproof. It has a battery backup that automatically kicks in if the power goes out, which has been very helpful in ensuring continued noise. It also has a timer option for auto shut-off. Lots of options for sounds – we prefer the white noise, rain, or thunder. The volume has a great range from very low (less than a fan) to very loud (drowns out the noise from the highway). I’m impressed with the quality and durability of this little machine. It’s been dropped, has traveled with us, and has stood the test of time with two toddlers. If it ever does stop working, we definitely got our money’s worth and will re-order.

This is my 3rd purchase of this sound machine as we have loved it so much! Love the sound options, timing options and continuous play. The biggest bonus is being able to have it plugged in at home and battery run for travel or as battery backup! We even take it camping with no power!!My only issues with the newest version however is that they upgraded to a BLUE light and it is soooo bright and projects a big blue circle in the room. I also wish that it had one quieter sound level!!!
