Another useless piece of

Great gift for a new homeowner
I purchased this for myself, and now I purchase one for my clients (I’m a real estate agent). It’s such a fun thing to have, and the best part is being able to put the dimensions of doors and windows in there as well as paint samples. It makes shopping MUCH easier!

This book I purchased for my granddaughter who bought her first home and is busy renovating it. It has kept her organized and saved her from losing her mind through the process. Highly recommend this book for anybody that loves to stay organized and have everything right at their fingertips.

Great concept — one flaw
This book is really nice. Breaks down each room with a page for design plan, layout, to do list, quotes, purchased items, and notes. The major flaw is that the page for the layout is not done in 1/4″ scale. There are dots that are about 6/8′ apart. If the dots were 1/4″ scale for sketching layouts, that would have been a real win for this book. The first section of the book has general information of home details (purchase and built dates) then household bill providers, then major appliance list for model and serial #. The next section has each room (upto 5 bedrooms and 4 baths. Then it has a section for “custom” rooms — so if you have a sun porch, atrium, theater room, bonus room, etc. you can do plans for those — or you can update plans for previous rooms at a later date if you desire.

I bought this as a gift but it didn’t hit the mark. I returned it in the end. The cardboard sleeve is poorly printed, the design blurred at certain points, the sleeve was thin and not gift quality. The pages inside were too thin so you could see the print from the previous page.
