From the Publisher

Just a few of the exercises inside:

One important part of a growth mindset is being able to look in your own rearview mirror and learn from things you’ve already done. Write about a goal you achieved in the past.

Even if you don’t play a sport, you can get exercise every day. Take a few minutes to exercise now. You can jump rope, do jumping jacks, dance to music, or just run around the yard. How do you feel afterward? Do you have more or less energy?

List three of your strengths, like drawing, being a good listener, or telling jokes. Choose one of those strengths. How did you develop it? Did anyone help you?

Great for all kids
I recently bought a growth mindset book for girls for my daughter and this one for my son. I really like the way this one is laid out. It provides engaging short activities that can be completed every day, and explanations that are to the point. The book is great for laying the foundation for the designated age group. My only complaint is that it’s titled “for boys.” I haven’t to this point found anything inside that would limit it’s demographic, with the exception of an entry when there is a graphic of a boy where it asks the reader to listen to their body (as opposed to the one I bought “for girls,” which is very girl-heavy). Personally, we like it so much that I’m buying one for my daughter and making a cover in the front. The Girls book we bought is for deeper understanding and reflection, which isn’t developmentally where she’s at.

Fantastic Journal – (boys & dogs love it 😉
I bought this book to see if it was a good fit for my clients. This is a great book for many of the kids I support with anxiety.Love the mindfulness aspect and helping kids get unstuck. I will recommend to parents for sure!

Boys journal
Pretty standard journal for preteen boys. My son started to us it but lost interest pretty soon thereafter.

One of its kind!
This journal really is one of a kind. It LOOKS visually appealing for young boys and the questions / explanations are wonderful. I bought this for my cousin – and am going to be ordering another to save for my son when he is old enough.I love the way that this was created BY a young boy instead of just by a professional or a parent. That made it so appealing to my cousin. I hope you enjoy my quick flip through video to help you see how valuable it is.

Not just for Boys – It’s for every person
Get this one for your kids, get one for yourself. It really is for any person at every stage in life. Seriously, it’s kind and constructive without being preachy.

Easy to use
I purchased several versions of growth journals for my sons. They do a page everyday in the morning and it takes approximately 3 to 5 minutes to start the day on the positive note. It’s very simple to follow along and gives great props to help them change their mindset. A great tool to encourage child growth. Highly recommend.

Best fun book for boys.
My 12 year old grandson seemed to like this. For me, it would be good for any boy that wants to keep track of his thoughts.

Great concept however Amazon dropped the ball and sent me a used copy. The pages had already been drawn and written on.
