I’m actually impressed. After a couple months of use of this portable smoothie blender it is still performing almost as good as the day I received it. It seals great, is super easy to clean, and perfect for outings and camping. I’m always skeptical about rechargeable kitchen gadgets because of unpleasant past experiences, however this one has exceeded my expectations. The top holds a charge for several uses (depending on the hardness of your food products) and actually blends small ice well. I like that it does have a safety feature and won’t turn on unless the cap is sealed correctly. The color is one of my faves, and the fact that it comes with a separate lid is nice. As far as noise level goes it is actually not annoyingly loud; you can actually have a conversation with someone without having to yell when you turn it on. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is that the power button is starting to wear out and won’t start the blade from time to time.

It seemed like it would be perfect for on-the-go smoothies or shakes.Unfortunately, it does not work at all. The light keeps flashing red and green, and no matter how many times I tried to secure it, it would not blend. I’m so disappointed because this would have been really convenient if it functioned properly.At $40, it’s quite pricey for a product that doesn’t work, so I’ll be returning it. The safety features and design are nice, but ultimately it’s useless in its current state.
