A Must-Have Financial Guide for Teens!
Personal Finance for Teenagers is hands down one of the best books I’ve come across for teaching kids about money. As a parent, I’ve always worried about how little financial education kids get in school, and this book fills that gap perfectly. It’s practical, engaging, and actually fun to read—yes, even for teens! The book covers everything: creative ways to make money (including side hustles my teen hadn’t thought of), how to use compound interest to grow savings, and even stock market simulations that let them learn to invest without any risk. I also loved the sections on spotting scams and understanding credit cards—things most adults wish they’d learned earlier. The writing is relatable, easy to understand, and even funny at times, which keeps teens engaged. My son was drawn to the budgeting techniques that balance saving with still having fun—a huge win in his eyes! My personal favorite section of the book was Chapter 10 – LOVED it!This book doesn’t just educate—it empowers. It teaches teens how to protect themselves from financial scams, make smart decisions with credit cards, and build a future-ready financial foundation. If you’re looking for a book that your teen will not only read but actually enjoy, this is it.I can’t recommend Personal Finance for Teenagers enough. It’s the perfect tool to set your teen up for financial success and reduce their stress about money in the years to come. Five stars without a doubt!

A Fantastic Resource for Teenagers to Master Money Management!
“PERSONAL FINANCE FOR TEENAGERS” by Ben Clardy is an absolute gem! As part of The Teen Advantage Series, this book offers a clear and engaging path to financial literacy that is both accessible and practical for teens. The author does a fantastic job of breaking down crucial concepts like earning, saving, budgeting, and investing into easy-to-understand language that teens can immediately apply in their daily lives. What sets this book apart is its hands-on activities—these exercises make learning fun and interactive, helping teens develop real-world skills. Whether it’s setting up a budget or understanding the basics of credit, Clardy equips readers with the tools to make smart financial decisions from an early age.As a parent, I found this book to be a valuable resource to help my teenager start thinking about money in a responsible and informed way. The advice is practical, motivating, and well-structured. I highly recommend this book to any teenager (or parent) who wants to build a solid foundation for financial success in the future!

A MUST READ by all Teens!!
Personal Finance for Teens by Ben Clardy is information your parents tried to teach you, but who listens to their parents? Lol. He covers important topics such as budgets, job applications, part-time jobs (Gigs), good credit vs bad credit, etc.The reason I am only giving the author four stars because he touched on too many subjects to briefly instead of narrowing down the field and giving more information and examples. For instance, the average teenager doesn’t care about the history of money, they just need to know how to save and budget the limited resources they have. Also, it would be nice if the author actually gave an example of a spreadsheet he keeps mentioning.Overall, I recommend this for all teenagers to read. I wish this book was around ten years ago for my children. I have bought one for my 15-year-old grandson and will review it with him to clarify things the author only briefly touched.

    An Excellent Guidebook
This is an extremely well-written and well-organized guide for any teen or young adult looking to learn more about money and finance. Heck, it could benefit a lot of full-grown adults too. As one of those full-grown adults, I found it entertaining and fun to read. I’m not sure how much of the humor would be appreciated by teenagers vs. generating an eye roll. I am sure, though, that every teen can take something valuable away from this book. How much a teen can learn depends on the teen: their interest level and their financial acumen. But it’s written in a clear way so anybody willing to give it the attention it deserves can learn important things from it. For some, it might be easier to absorb a chapter at a time. I like that it includes chapters on protecting your data and therefore your money, as way as charitable giving. This is in addition to the expected chapters on building credit, investing, budgeting, savings etc.

A Practical and Engaging Guide for Teens
I got this book for my 13-year-old daughter as a New Year’s gift, and it’s been a fantastic resource. Financial literacy is such an important skill, yet it’s something schools rarely teach. This book presents concepts like budgeting, saving, and investing in a way that’s easy for teens to understand and relate to.My daughter especially enjoyed the sections on creative ways to earn money and the risk-free stock market simulations—it made learning about finances fun and interactive.
