Yes!! Great Resource
This book is great! I have a super anxious 8 year old who has been in CBT and OT for 2 years. This book perfectly supplements the lessons we learn in therapy. It’s reinforces the concepts and it’s easy/simple for him to navigate on his own. He completes the activities independently then we go over what he learned and he can apply it to life situations together. Highly recommend for families who believe in growth mindset and understand it’s a lifestyle change.

Helping us to be positive
This book has easy, no prep activities to do as a group to learn about being more positive. I use this in homeschool for my 3 kids, one of which is a bit on the negative side. I think we are all learning from it.

Great growth workbook for kids
So glad I found this workbook this summer. Great, well-done workbook that is working to build son’s growth mindset. The activities are well thought-out and build those much needed brain pathways in today’s kids. Great for my son working on self-limiting behavior.

Good Concepts but Not Engaging
We are about half way through the activities and the general thrust offers a few really good concepts for kids. Unfortunately, a lot of the activities are repetitive in an almost overbearing and phanatic fashion (yes, we get it! Growth mindset good, fixed bad!). Still, I’m happy we walked through those concepts.Another issue is the activities just aren’t engaging. We just did one on mistakes where we had to decide if different things were the results of mistakes. So we had to google many of the items and figure out if they were mistakes to check it off. Then come up with our own item that was a mistake. It’s an awkward question because we might not know what’s a mistake. Then the follow up is ‘would you miss it?’. Good concept but not a very engaging activity.

Needs to be leveled to age appropriate as described on cover, 6-9years old.
For Kids ages 6-9, and author was able to come with very short ideas, reference: activity #10, what’s good for your brain!!! Seriously, why should I start a conversation about drugs and alcohol with my 6yo? Having kids at that age other things to learn (age appropriate) that are not good for their brain. This is just one short example that I don’t keep/buy this book.
