A nice way to get your daily collagen, but not really a coffee creamer
When you first open the bag, your nose is greeted with a delightful maple-y, caramel-y scent. I already had a coffee blend that was coconut mocha, so I thought this would be a great way to try it out. It takes a little time and effort to completely dissolve all the lumps. But even though you’re using a pretty substantial amount, one of their scooper fulls, it really does not function as a creamer. I still had to add my regular half and half. But once I did, and tried drinking it, I noticed that the mouth feel was much creamier than it would have been without this “creamer”. It also contains no sweeteners and adds no sweetness, which in my book is a good thing.The list of ingredients are all healthy, as long as you don’t mind your collagen coming from bovine sources, I usually prefer my collagen coming from marine sources, but that’s a detail. It does add 50 calories to your cup of coffee, and that’s not counting the half and half that I still had to add.The only real downside is that no matter how you may try, you simply cannot reseal the bag once it’s been opened. You have to find your own way to seal the bag between uses. For that I knocked off one star. Other than that, I knocked off one more star because it isn’t really a creamer, since you still need to use cream if that’s how you like your coffee. But as I said, if you’re looking for something with healthy ingredients that is a good and tasty way to get your collagen intake each day, then I would definitely recommend this, because once I had everything mixed together, I found my cup of coffee to be very enjoyable.
