The last vegan shake mix you’ll ever buy!
Quite possibly the world’s greatest vegan protein mix! Seriously, I’m not kidding. I have a pretty restrictive diet and have had trouble with various vegan protein powders before. They either upset my stomach, taste terrible or the texture is off. And given the recent Consumer Digest report on heavy metals found in protein powders, you really need to do your research. Since I was concerned, I reached out to the good people at Earthchimp and they even shared a copy of their heavy metals lab report. Talk about transparency. A company that is willing to open the books on details like that are certainly worth celebrating. Give them a chance and I’m certain you’ll agree that they know how to do this right. BEST vegan protein powder on the market
I’ve been on the hunt for a decent vegan protein powder for a while now, and thought my hunt had come to an end when I discovered Orgain Simple about 6 months ago. I really liked their vanilla flavor, and the ingredients are fairly clean. However, I’m a huge chocolate fan, and found that the Orgain chocolate flavor just wasn’t it. Plus, all of the Orgain Simple protein powders have added sugar (granted, coconut sugar) which felt unnecessary and not particularly something I wanted in a product that I use fairly regularly. And so the hunt continued. I came across a few potential contenders, before landing on Earth Chimp. The ingredients looked phenomenal, the protein to calorie ratio was quite an improvement, and the reviews led me to believe that the flavor would be decent enough. After receiving the product 2 days ago, and having used probably about 4 servings worth already, I can say that all of that is true and more! This is BY FAR the best protein powder I have tried. I have been using it in protein shakes, oats, brownies, and even coffee. Every time I open the bag, I get a big waft of chocolatey goodness. The flavor isn’t particularly overpowering, but it masks the taste of the pea protein incredibly well. The monk fruit also gives it a subtle sweetness. As someone who is accustomed to consuming protein powder regularly, I found that this one is not chalky at all compared to most others. However, when my dad (who doesn’t consume protein powder) tried my protein shake, he said that although it wasn’t overwhelmingly chalky, it was still a little chalky and protein-like nonetheless (apparently even the best can’t evade the inevitable slight chalkiness of protein supplements:)). I had no problem blending this into smoothies, and haven’t experienced any clumpiness either. The value of this bag is great and I suspect it should last me a little while! Despite being a chocolate lover, I’m tempted to buy the vanilla too just to try it. Great product, 10/10 recommend!

Great Powder and PHENOMENAL Company
The product itself is 5 stars – great flavor and a little bit gritty, but I like that. I add it to my breakfast cereal each morning for a little protein boost after my morning workouts.As for the company, I reached out to them after reading the recent research from Consumer Reports about protein powder having excessive lead content – and particularly so for powders with pea protein (which EarthChimp has). Founder/CEO got back to me almost immediately. They operate out of Ireland and have several quality checks along the way due to different jurisdiction-specific regulations. But the bottom line is that their most recent independent inspection showed lead content at a level lower than what is allowed for baby formula in the EU, which is obviously really, really safe.This is a company that cares about your health and the quality of what they are selling. Buy with confidence.

Best vegan protein powder on the market and it’s not even close!
I have had to revert to almost exclusively a smoothie diet because of a medical condition. I’ve tried dozens of protein brands, and read lots about the products – including some proteins containing above acceptable levels of lead.I can honestly say that EarthChimp products are hands down the best proteins I have sampled. I won’t use any other brand at this point. And a shout-out to Dave at EarthChimp for the delicious recipe. I’ve loaded up so much with EarthChimp protein powder that my wife is complaining that I’m “hogging” all of the shelf space in the pantry. 🙂 If I have to build another cabinet, I would do it if it means I can store plenty of the EC bags. Well done, EarthChimp!!

Average but Impressive Ingredients
As far as protein powders go, this is pretty good. It still tastes like protein powder, but the ingredient list is nice and it does the job. I do however wish it would just use some sugar instead of monkfruit, it tastes better imo. I wouldn’t go so far as to call it chalky, but it is a bit gritty on the tongue and has the “texture” that the package warns about (I don’t mind this, but if you do you might prefer it as a smoothie). I find it difficult to blend without a machine (vitamix or a small food processor for me). Shaking left chunks and lots of foam.Anyway, it’s not perfect but it’s clean, convenient, and I’ve got the tools to make it work for me.

Excellent Tasting and 3rd Party Tested
I use Earth Chimp Chocolate Protein powder on a daily basis in fruit and green smoothies. I have tried numerous plant based proteins and this one has the smoothest texture and best taste. I appreciate that they leave out stevia as I don’t like any additional sweeteners. When I had questions about the product the company was extremely responsive and I feel confident in their 3rd party testing for heavy metals. This is a product I feel confident using every day for myself and my family.
