Most of the other lemon pepper spice blends I have tried have been overly salty. This blend from ButcherBox is much more balanced. Both the lemon and pepper tastes were the predominant flavors while the other flavors took an appropriate backseat. The blend tasted fresh and lively.I tried the blend on some chicken wings (conveniently from Butcherbox) and they tasted almost as good as my homemade blend with less work!I am looking forward to trying some of the other spice blends that ButcherBox has brought to market.Give your tastebuds a treat and try this spice blend.

Great blend of lemon pepper seasoning. Tastes just like you’d expect. It doesn’t clump up like other seasonings do and it’s easy to dispense. It’s really takes the steak up a notch. It’s also great on chicken or in eggs.

Worst “lemon pepper” blend I ever had. No lemon flavor, clumps. Maybe something happened to this particular jar. I’m looking for something else so I can throw it out.

Super fresh, bright flavor that fits with nearly anything
The only other lemon pepper I have ever tried was the regular McCormick’s stuff from the grocery store and I have never really liked the way it tasted. The pepper is too stale and not fresh tasting and the lemon part tastes almost chemical like, not like real lemon zest. So I was unsure of how this product would taste. Thankfully this lemon pepper is totally different from my previous experiences.First of all: the pepper in this product is fresh and recently cracked, it tastes bright and fresh and like I cracked it myself. Not at all the stale flavor you get from most ground pepper. The lemon flavor is just straight lemon zest, no chemical taste, no other unnecessary additives. Its just fresh. citrusy flavor. The effect is extremely bright and flavorful. I love the taste of this product and its great on all sorts of foods. The obvious use is for chicken wings and fish I also added to a Chili Colorado I had made and it brightened this dish right up.The size of the bottle is very generous and the price is excellent for this level of quality

All natural ingredients
I’m so glad that they used all natural ingredients, nothing chemically with any weird names at all. This is pretty black pepper forward, but that’s expected since it’s lemon pepper. LOL! I like it! Be aware that sea salt has been included in this, it’s a little salty as well besides being peppery and lemony. Great in my The Whole Shabang sauce for Cajun shrimp boil! There’s no expiration date on the bottle I received.
