A Fantastic Resource for Teaching Kids Anger Management!
Train Your Angry Dragon* is a fantastic book for parents looking to help their children navigate difficult emotions, especially anger. As a mom, I am always searching for ways to help my child express and understand their feelings in a healthy way, and this book does just that! The story is simple yet captivating, with a cute dragon character who learns to manage anger. The book provides a fun and relatable way for kids to understand what anger feels like and how they can handle it when they start to feel upset. The illustrations are bright and engaging, keeping kids interested while reinforcing the key message. What I appreciate most about this book is how it teaches practical strategies for anger management. My child loves the idea of breathing like the dragon to calm down, and we’ve already started using some of these techniques in real-life situations.I highly recommend *Train Your Angry Dragon* to parents, teachers, and caregivers who want to instill emotional intelligence and anger management skills in young children. This book is a wonderful tool to help kids learn how to process their emotions in a positive and constructive way. It’s a must-have addition to any child’s bookshelf, especially for those learning to manage big emotions!

Amazing read for small children
My daughter loves the tale and following along. She’s very engaged with it and also really enjoys the pictures throughout. This is an easy read for parents and kids, my daughter is a toddler and this is a great read for her age.

Big help for 5 year old having issues in school!
My 5 year old son had been having a hard time in class due to a move into a new house. He was acting out towards his teachers and classmates by yelling, using mean words, hitting, and not listening. We found a couple of the Dragon Series books to read together, hoping to find a way to explain these feelings and handle them in a way he would understand. We loved them! We bought the “Teach Your Dragon To Understand Consequences” and “Train Your Angry Dragon” books and read them multiple times in the first sitting. They started a wonderful and productive dialogue between us and our son. His teacher had us bring them in and she read them to the whole class; all of the kids loved them and are asking for more! The best social-emotional children’s books I’ve been able to find, and a fun read! Will definitely be buying more!

His rage has become triggered so easily and gets so destructive
There is no way to give you an understanding of how high needs our youngest is. Trust me, you probably have never encountered so much mental illness and behavioral challenges in one human being. His rage has become triggered so easily and gets so destructive. He loves this book. It gives us a way to talk about anger and coping without him feeling threatened or worthless. Playing with a stuffed dragon like Diggery Doo, has made a wonderful way to role-play the coping skills in the story. We both are anxiously awaiting the money to get more of this series.

Omg, so helpful!!!
I bought this book and two others (“consequences” and “respect”) and my 5yo loves them! It helped me introduce ways to talk about empathy and feeling our emotions. I feel like it was just what we needed to plant a seed. The illustrations are so helpful and have made space to talk about what is going on in the story and recalling our own experiences. This and the other books arrived so fast and we have read them about 5 times each already this evening. I will definitely be buying more books from this series!!!

My 4 year old picked up on this real quick, great book!
I have a short temper, which in returns means my mini me has a short temper. I bought this book after reading the reviews and wondered if we could pick up any of the solutions. After one time reading it, we all walk round telling each other to count to ten and not to burn things to the ground. 🙂 Even though counting to 10 doesn’t always work, I give this book 5 stars for my 4yr old to be able to remember the sentiments with us not having to repeat them over and over again. Will be buying other books from this series since it was a good learning tool.

Una manera de mostrar a los niños de entre 5 y 8 años, a controlar sus enojos, con ejemplos que son conocidos para ellos.

It’s a great tool to teach kids about calming themselves. The illustrations are super cute and the words rhyme, so it’s good for kids to follow on.
