    Wellness & Recipes Explained
I wasn’t sure what to think about this, but honestly, that’s why I downloaded it from the Kindle library. I do love recipe books and enjoy learning about natural remedies to stay healthy. I gained a lot of new information from this book, but I’m not sure how much of it I would actually use in my daily life. I wish this book were more of a recipe book with pictures and detailed instructions. It would make a great gift for someone who likes to practice natural remedies in everyday life.

Immaculate devotion to the niche hobby. I have a great respect for this art of preparing natural homemade herbal remedies with patience, attention to details and traditional wisdom. Loved how this book goes together in great detail as what goes into making herbal remedies, I always was looking for something that could give me an insider’s insight. Well written book.

    Better healthy living
The Self-Sufficient Homestead Recipe Book is about learning to live healthier and more naturally. After spending time abroad, I realized that many countries eat, drink, and live much differently than we do—and in many ways, better. This book shares what I’ve learned and gives you easy, step-by-step guidance to start growing your own food, cooking with fresh ingredients, and making healthier choices every day. It’s filled with recipes, gardening tips, and simple ideas to help you take care of yourself and your family while becoming more self-sufficient. It’s all about creating a better, healthier lifestyle from the ground up.

More of an encyclopedia than a recipe book
I had a difficult time reading this book because I expected it to be a classically structured recipe book with photos and step photos or at least illustrations guiding me through the processes that are often complex and pretty foreign to a beginner. The title describes this as a family guide and there is indeed a wealth of information and formulas addressing everything from digestive health and immune support to fermentation basics and creating probiotic-rich foodslike yogurt and kombucha, which I have only seen in their processed forms in stores like Whole Foods. Somewhat complex methods address mens wellness, pet care and natural cleaning scrubs, pastes and solutions. But what we can’t necessarily visualize if we aren’t familiar with these processes and ingredients are all the details that go into these master tinctures and infusions, let alone what they should look like when successfully processed. This read more like a textbook than a recipe book and I was hoping for something more visually inspiring because the cover was so pretty.

My answer for stress management natural remedies!
I downloaded this book because I was looking for remedies specifically formulated for stress management. This book, on page 115, offers an entire section devoted to teas, potions, and drinks that offer relaxation, comfort, and are all based on herbs and spices.I already made tea based on the stress support blend recipe. It came out delicious and smelled so invigorating and comforting at the same time. Chamomile tea was the easiest to prepare. The book offers so many recipes for teas, potions, and drinks to foster a healthy lifestyle and provide aid during specific health challenges. I highly recommend this book.

A handy guide full of natural recipes for health and wellness. It’s my go-to book for healing foods like sauerkraut, kombucha, and yogurt. I enjoyed the nursing support tea, though these days I’m more in need of the hot flash relief tea! Practical, tasty, and highly recommended.
