Excellent, tasty, nutritious quick meal!
Awesome product; got it for years in stores; now can only find it online. Heat it up and put it over wild rice or noodles; makes 2 meals per can for me! Always consistently delicious; lots of large chicken chunks. As I read the 5, 4, and some 3 star reviews, they are reviewing a different product … this product comes in a CAN, not a pouch. So you can ignore all the bad things that are said in those reviews! Keep making this product and I’ll keep ordering several cases each year. 🙂

I love this, but small and pricey, but you must try it anyway
I really love this. The taste is wonderful, just like you would expect from the Swanson brand. I just wish it came in a bigger size or that it was cheaper. I have to eat 2 cans at a meal to be satisfied, but I haven’t found that they have a larger can available. It is so good; one can is just not enough.

Affordable yet edible…
I live alone and it’s hard to cook for one. You either slave away for hours and make, and eat, too much or live on ramen and frozen pizzas. This is a handy little dinner you can add veggies too and serve on rice, bread or a potato. Man, or woman, cannot live on sandwiches and canned soup alone. Experiment with this.

Swanson’s chicken a la king
Now I really did like this it’s kind of cheesy sauce it doesn’t really have enough chicken in it for me but if I want to put it over some rice I just add some chicken to it out of a can I don’t think there’s enough chicken in it but maybe if you’re just eating the soup it might be enough chicken but to add some maybe if you want extra vegetable or you’re using rice you know to put it on you definitely one of the little extra chicken in my opinion but not everybody you know like me so you’ll just have to see but it is good it tastes so good and actually I bought it for my dog because I started making his own food because he had an allergy reaction to something I bought and I thought why did we get last it was duck jerky he can’t take the duck turkey I’m going to give you I was so bad itchy itchy and then he had hives with it too it was horrible but I got it all situated and bought things that I needed and he’s all good and just make your dog’s food it’s not that hard especially using little cans of stuff you know like chicken tuna salmon and add rice or Ezekiel Bread green bread or the other kind of the Ezekiel bread my dog loves the muffins they’re kind of sweet and they’re Ezekiel it’s just made it to the Bible ingredients so it doesn’t have any flour and that’s what I do you know I put peas peas and carrots or green beans sometimes broccoli

I absolutely love Chicken à la King! It is a gift to be able to order it here on Amazon—especially since it’s become so hard to find in stores. Honestly, it’s well worth buying a 12-pack, because there are so many delicious ways to enjoy it.I’ve known and loved this dish since the 1980s. I still remember coming home from school to the comforting aroma filling the house—it was the smell of warmth, love, and a hearty meal waiting for us.There are countless ways to use Chicken à la King in your cooking—too many to name—but in our family, we especially enjoy it served over warm, flaky biscuits. It’s easy, quick to prepare, and always satisfies a hungry household.

Not a fan of the taste as it was watered down. Could have used more bbq sauce balance with the amount of meat in the packet. Too watery
