These are so yummy!!! I love roasted chickpeas anyway, but these are divine! They totally satisfy my urge for flavor and crunch! I’ve always been a salt over sweet person, so these are perfect craving satisfiers for me. My faves are the Honey BBQ and the Sour Cream and Onion ones.

Sea salt flavor
Ordered the variety pack, have only tried the sea salt so far. Those tasted good and would opt for them over peanuts. The pieces are small (about the size of half a pea) so it would be helpful if you could tear the package open easier to facilitate pouring them in your mouth. Packaging is hard to open when you’re on the go.UPDATE regarding packaging. Can’t open by hand. All 3 of us went for the scissors. Don’t see this working as an on-the-go snack. Who keeps scissors in the car, kids lunch box…?Sea salt was my favorite flavor.

Tiny shards of rockhard chickpeas
I wanted to give these a try since they were a variety pack and would let me sample a few flavors. I’ve had roasted chickpeas in the past that were like eating peanuts. These were not like that at all.First, they weren’t whole chickpeas which was surprising. They were small broken pieces, almost like what would be left over after all the whole chickpeas were taken out.Second, they were as hard as rocks. I was worried I was going to break a tooth or pop a crown.Last, most of the flavors were very faint, with the exception of the spicy ones. Those were very spicy which was quite frankly surprising given how bland the others were.All in all, not worth it. Try a different brand that has whole chickpeas and are easier to eat!

just small pieces of chickpeas
Sooooooo, these are okay. We needed protein snacks, which these are. What I didn’t realize is that it is all just small pieces of chickpeas, like the broken bits at the bottom. I thought they were whole chickpeas. I know they claim these are the hearts of the chickpeas but that isn’t a thing. Flavor is fine and protein is good. Just not as enjoyable to eat as whole chickpeas. Will eat these but won’t reorder.

You Need to Give the Bag a Good Shake
I’ve been waiting for this brand to make a variety pack, so I was happy when I finally saw it! We got the box a week ago, and already have almost finished it. And there’s only two of us.IMPORTANT TO NOTE: You must, must, must shake the bag thoroughly before opening it, to get the seasoning mixed through. Otherwise your first few handfuls will be extremely bland, with the last bits extremely salty.My roommate compared the Festive chickpeas to peanuts, and I’d say that’s a pretty fair yardstick. They don’t have as strong a flavor, though, so they’re good if you just want something that’s crunchy and salty. Also, I find them to be very filling, in a good way. I’ll often have a big salad with some kind of protein, like tuna, for lunch, and a little bag of these really satisfies me. I’m no longer reaching for potato chips, which had been my go-to. So, these will probably go into my regular rotation.Ultimately, I like all the flavors. However, if I were forced to choose, the two Spicys would be my top, followed by the Sea Salt. Honey BBQ & Ranch are good, and the Sour Cream & Onion is pretty decent, if a little plain. Basically, if you like the flavor as a potato chip, you’ll like it as a roasted chickpea.

Give them a try
I like these. They are VERY crunchy. Crunchier than a hard pretzel. But I got them to satisfy my snacking and to replace my love of chips.Fyi- If you have dental issues, this may not be the right snack for you.As another reviewer mentioned, you need to shake the bag before opening them.I like the flavors, subtle but good. I also like that they are not too salty.I recommend these.
