Not for long thick hair
I got these heatless hair curlers to use on my daughter’s long, thick hair, but found they just didn’t work for her. She could have easily used six or eight of the curling rods. I lightly dampened her hair, focusing just on the top layer of hair since I didn’t have enough curlers, and let them sit overnight. Even after sitting ten hours, her hair was still damp. The covers don’t allow air to get to her hair and left almost the entire length just as damp as when I rolled them up. Because they were damp, they didn’t take the curl. I tried them on my shoulder length, thin hair, (without the covers) and didn’t have any problems. Three curlers were enough for me, and my hair looked great.

These are a unique version of those long heatless hair curlers that have been seen all over lately. These are three shorter pieces where you can section your hair and wrap each section around one smaller heatless curler and then snap the ends closed to hold it in your hair. Each curler comes with its own mini satin bonnet to cover it and help the hair stay in place. These almost seem a bit easier to use than the long ones. They are soft and comfortable with smooth satin fabric and the snaps stay attached. They work with the same idea as the long ones, the curl just has a little different style to it. Your preference of how you like your curls to lay will determine what you like best.
