    Love this brand
I don’t like buying clothes without trying them on, and with all the changes my body is going through, am extra nervous about how things will fit. I found a pair of Motherhood leggings in my local thrift store, and could not believe the absolute comfort and quality. I’m already a bigger person pre-pregnancy….5’9, size 14/16 pants. I was excited to buy more of this product and was not disappointed. I’m at week 24, leggings feel great and I feel like there is still room to grow. I workout quite a lot, between hiking and the gym, and these are not see through so I don’t feel self conscious at all. Also lots of time on my feet = swollen legs/ankles, the legs on the leggings don’t get too tight, and I am able to remain comfortable in them. I have gotten a few other brands that are Asian, but the fit is always weird on my taller frame. I would recommend these to anyone, and especially if you are already tall or plus sized!

    Best For Earlier Pregnancy
I am 14 weeks and new to needing maternity clothes. I like these leggings for the stage of pregnancy I’m in right now, but the “performance” fabric that goes over the belly is definitely tighter and less stretchy than the belly band material on some of the other Motherhood Maternity brand clothing that I bought and tried. I’m still giving them 5 stars because I like how they fit now. I ordered my normal “pre pregnancy” size, as suggested, and they fit well through the legs and hips. They also seem like they will likely fit post partum, but I have a hard time seeing how they will be able to continue to be comfortable on a growing belly, when the belly area feels a little tight already.

It’s MEH–Not great but thankfully NOT awful. Good enough for lazy loungewear ONLY.
I took a chance and got a small even though I am overweight for my height. I’m under 5 feet and weigh 130 lbs. Even with a size small it feels loose and definitely not something I’d wear outside of the house. I’m going to keep it because I need comfy loungewear and I’m only at the beginning of my 2nd trimester so I’m sure I’ll fill it out. These leggings equate to the same quality of leggings you’d spend $10 for at Forever21. It’s cheap but at least comfy. Meh. I wouldn’t buy again but not worth the effort to return the item.

great price, good material, & room to grow
I am 25 weeks pregnant and ordered an XL. I normally wear an XL anyway and these fit great. The stretchy belly band will give me room to grow. They stay up nicely and are a good substitute for my pre-maternity workout capris. They seemed to wick away the sweat (I did a 30 minute interval program on the elliptical) and they also stayed in place. They are super comfortable to workout in and the material does not seem to rub in between the thighs (unlike some of the Motherhood Maternity jean material). I am pleased and will definitely be ordering more. For the price they aren’t bad at all!!!

This Diamond in the Rough Exceeded All Expectations
5’7″ 135 lbs pre-pregnancy. Ordered medium sizeEDIT: Have removed a star after a few years of use. The belly fabric has deteriorated over time in ways that other maternity pants haven’t, and I’ve noticed that this particular belly fabric makes loose shirts stick to it (which is NOT favorable when you’re trying to hide the post pregnancy baby fat and can still only fit in your maternity clothes!). The bottom part of these pants are PERFECT and I still highly recommend these for workout purposes.Original review:Since price and quality usually go hand in hand, I was extremely skeptical with these; most maternity fitness bottoms that I was looking at were, bare minimum, twice the price. My budget, already overloaded with the massive amount of baby items I have to buy in the next few months, is what pushed me to take the risk. Since I usually fit in the medium category, that’s what I ordered. I was looking for good fitness pants that were sturdy enough for low-impact jogging, not just the yoga pants that are oh-so-popular during pregnancy. These aren’t Prime eligible, so they showed up 9 days after the order; not too bad, all things considering. When I pulled them out of the bag, my heart sank. They looked far too small for me. Cursing myself for not getting two sizes up, I shoved my legs in, fully expecting them to not make it any higher than my mid-thigh. To my complete surprise, they slid on with ease, feeling soft and breathable, yet sturdy and supportive at the same time. My next thought was that the amount of stretching that these had to go through must come with that all too familiar and terrible side effect of being extremely see-through. I looked at these from every angle, in several stretched poses, and in various lighting situations. I wasn’t able to see my bright pink underwear at all, no matter what I did. I even grabbed a section and pulled it tighter than necessary, and still couldn’t see anything! The only issue I was running into was that the fabric for the belly area hitched up pretty high. Even though I’m taller than average, when the pants were fully on the top could be tucked in slightly under my training bra. I was at 20 weeks at the time, so my belly was starting to noticeably push out. I recognized that my stomach still has a lot of significant growth to do, so this amount of material is definitely needed. I folded over the fabric a few inches and it stayed pretty well, so that was an easy fix. Just 4 weeks later, the end rests right at the top of my bump, with plenty of stretchable fabric to accommodate for the upcoming third trimester.I’ve used these pants a few times a week since I purchased them almost a month ago. On top of using them for low-impact jogging, yoga, and other doctor-approved workouts, they’re extremely comfortable for just lounging around the house, and nice enough to wear like regular pants/leggings with cute sandals/sneakers and a blouse. I am ecstatic with how this purchase turned out, and am excited to wear these during my whole pregnancy and for future pregnancies too!

    Great workout pants for pregnancy
The pants are perfect for my moderate pregnancy workouts and wick away sweat without showing it! Based on their sizing I am a medium and find it to be a good fit. I like the fully belly panel and tuck it under the band of my bra to hold the pants up during workouts. These are the only maternity workout pants that have worked out 😉 for me. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

    no pockets
The product’s website says the product has pockets – it does not. Quality is poor, material is very, very thin, and they don’t stay in place but continually slide down and have to be readjusted.

    Do not fit as expected.
These pants do not fit as expected. They fit around my belly but not my butt or legs so they are very saggy when they should be more form fitting since I bought them to wear for working out. I was very disappointed.

  9. Gori Kaur

soo comfortable!, I bought the exact size based on measurement. it doesn’t slip down and very breathable and stretches enough to fit comfortable and stay up.

Product fits good but I didn’t like how the top that goes on the stomach had a brown colour einstead of all black.

  12. J

These pants fit like you would expect. Comfortable, with high waist to go over the bump. They stay up throughout a higher intensity crossfit-style workout. Glad that I work out at home because they become see-through when stretched.

These are comfortable, but low quality. They are already pilling after one use. Wish I had just bought more Old Navy leggings instead.
