I’ve done OTC makeup, LimeLIfe, Mary Kay, high-end department store, Avon, all of it. I was intensely skeptical about buying make up off a Facebook ad. THIS Mommy-makeup is my new favorite. So easy, so effective and I look terrific on online video-calls. People asked why everyone else looks lousy and I look like I had a face lift! One colleague accused me of using a FILTER!! It’s light, doesn’t clog my pores, looks great on eyes, cheeks & lips. Also brow color is awesome. I wish there was a little more oomph in the mascara, but it’s decent for a waterproof. This mommy still doesn’t take much time to put on her face, but DANG her face looks better!

Love this product, be wary of color descriptions
First, as much as I love most of the products from this line, I absolutely despise the name of the company. It’s just so icky. I get it, mothers tend to have certain preferences for affordability, convenience, etc. But “mommy” sounds so childish. Just yuck.Phew, glad I got that out. Now the review.This is my second triple-stick from this line, and I chose another color because I adored the first one so much. Not all of the colors available on the brand website are on Amazon, and the one I most wanted was not here. But this was where I got free/quick shipping, so here is where I bought. That was a mistake (for me).The stick is as good as the other. Good color payoff, easy to use, etc. I personally find it a bit dry to blend as a blush, but that’s just me. I have dry skin, so your mileage may vary. Where I take issue on this one is the shade (Daisy Glow), which is described as a “neutral pink with gold shimmer.” First I would say, this isn’t shimmer — it’s frost. To me it looks very 70’s-era, heavily shimmered, not just a glow as the name suggests. If that’s your look, this is great. But it’s neither my look nor what I thought “shimmer” implied.Secondly, the intensity of the shimmer makes the overall shade skew very much toward warm. What was once a neutral pink is no longer, because the gold frost gives it more of a peachy look than a pink.Mine’s going back as an exchange, I’ll probably just get another “Toasted Berry” which I loved. It’s darker, but it’s definitely more neutral and no frost.Still a fan of the company, but this was a problematic purchase for me.

I LOVE these sticks and this color
I ordered this to replace the exact same product because the one I had (exact same color) is all gone. I LOVE these sticks and this color!! To be clear, I have only used it as a lipstick so I can’t speak to how it is as a blush or anything else, but as a lipstick it isn’t dry or chalky and it does a great job of staying applied when you eat or drink. It fades a little, but the color is still there so you don’t look ridiculous with full makeup everywhere but your lips. That said, I usually touch it up anyway after I eat. Overall I love this product – I wish I could try a few other colors, but I don’t want to order one and then be stuck with a color I’m not in love with so I just keep ordering the same one 🙂

Lasts, not sticky and not drying
Great color (pink daisy), soft rose with a bit of pearl, and lasts and lasts. It comes off a tiny bit at first, but after the first sip it stays put. No running into creases either. soft and creamy, it needs no primer and no balm underneath. Coverage is medium with one application and pretty solid with two. Pearl adds a cute highlighter when used as a blush, though I like it so much as a lipstick that I don’t want to waste it on blush.

No berry
Finding lipstick colors that work are very hard for me, so take this with a grain of salt. My lips have a natural light pink shade and some toast usually makes for a nice muted, classic brownish berry. That said this was almost all toast and next to no berry. You would have to mix it with a brighter pink to get any hint of the implied berry that is advertised. Bummer. I REALLY wanted to like this because other Mommy makeup products are fantastic, especially the clear mascara cover that prevents raccoon eyes. Oh well, back to Clinique.
