This set has exceeded my expectations for Amazon makeup. The colour palette for nudes was perfect for my daughter and I who both have a lightly tanned skin tone, and had all of my basic shades that I use for my matte , no-makeup look that I usually do. The shades are all warm toned, and lean more towards orange . The colours are nicely pigmented, and have all day staying power. Right on par with any professional makeup brand or high-end eyeshadow that I have purchased. I really like the sparkly shadows for just a touch of shine on the centre of my lids, and the glitter, or whatever the sparkles are made of doesn’t have any fallout as long as your brush isn’t mega overloaded with product. I have oily lids, and this eyeshadow stayed pretty well all day.

This eyeshadow palette comes in a pretty case with mirror. I like the shimmer and matte colour combinations. They have a soft and light finish and complement my fair skin tone. They are easy to apply and go smoothly with no clumps and blend well. To my surprise it is smudge resistant and lasts until it is removed.At time of writing it is $18.88 and there is a 50% coupon, making it a great deal at $9.44. Definitely worth trying if you’re looking for something soft and light that stays on.

This eyeshadow palette is a refreshing change from those super pigmented ones because it’s much easier to work with and blends really nicely while still giving great color payoff.The palette has a lovely selection of neutral nude shades, and I was pleasantly surprised to see that the colors in real life match up pretty accurately with what you see in the product images. The warm orange undertones in the shades really make my eye looks pop and brighten up my eyes.I did notice that the matte shades are a tad more pigmented than the shimmery ones, but overall, they all perform well. And it’s a nice touch that the palette comes with a brush too.When I use a good eyeshadow primer and setting spray, the colors stay put all day with minimal creasing, which is fantastic. Plus, having a decent-sized mirror in the palette cover is super handy.Now, I did put the palette to the test with water. The shadows held up pretty well when water ran over my hand, but they did smudge a bit when I rubbed them with my finger under running water. Thankfully, they’re easy to remove with hand soap.One thing that bugs me about this palette, though, is the box frame itself. It feels like it’s made of cardboard and tends to stain, especially with the darker colors. Unfortunately, these stains don’t wipe clean, so the palette starts looking a bit messy after a while.

These glided on easily using my personal makeup brush, which is a style of brush that I prefer, and stayed on throughout my workday.The price of this is impressive given the decent quality. This would be suitable as a gift or just as an addition to your makeup supply.
