Overall, very pleased. Slight changes can make the product perfect.
The journal and pen are both aesthetically pleasing and well built. The bindings of the journal seem to be strong, and the weight of the paper inside of it is pleasing. The aromas from the pen are very welcoming and not too strong. The pen itself writes very well and is comfortable to hold over an extended period of time. I am very pleased with both products.If there were any inconveniences with the product, I would point to two specifically. First, the aromas listed on the pen and hard to distinguish as there is no contrast between the lettering and the pen color. It can be difficult to see the different options when in low light. The second is the size of the pen holder on the journal. I like to keep the pen in its case, however; the case does not allow the pen to fit into the holder on the journal. This, of course, is my preference, but it would be nice if the pen holder on the journal could fit the pen while being stored in its own case.

Beautiful Sensory Journals
I love these journals! I was looking for something to write in that catered to my nerodivergent needs and that’s when I came across Lifelines. Not only are these journals beautiful and high quality, but they make writing a sensory experience. You can unfold the squishy cover to lay flat while you write and the pages have different textures you can feel, making you feel calm/focused. The pages are made of quality paper, as well. The price is great in my opinion. I also bought a Lifelines diffuser pen to write with, creating an even deeper sensory experience. These come packaged nicely, too, making them a great gift idea. I highly recommend these to anyone looking for a new journal.

These journals appeal to all your sensory needs and are also just simple enough that I don’t feel bad writing in them. Sometimes journals are too busy and pretty that it can be distracting and intimidating to mess up the pretty pages. These are perfect because they keep it mostly simple on the inside. There is a pretty decoration around the edges of the pages but is very lightly embossed and no flashy distracting colors. The liquid sensory addition to the covers is one of the greatest ideas anyone has ever had, I’m sure. The rest of the cover is smooth and soft. I’d buy these again.
