I Love The Storyline!
I’ve picked up a few books from this series, and I absolutely love them! The storylines are engaging and perfect for reading to elementary school children who are just starting to read on their own. My daughter enjoys listening to the stories, and the simple text makes it easy for her to follow along and practice reading if she wants to. The adorable, colorful illustrations keep her entertained and fully immersed in the story. This book is a wonderful choice for shared reading time, and I highly recommend it!

Every parent must get!!
This book was recommended by my child’s psychologist and I am more than pleased with this book! As a parent I am struggling with my dragon and sometimes so feel like I’m all alone in not knowing how to best help him. My dragon is highly anxious and has meltdowns daily however he was able to connect that Diggory Doo the dragon is just like him. When we read the book together for the first time I cried because it hit home in so many ways, but it also gives techniques that your dragon can use to help deal with his or her anxiety. It’s one thing for a parent to say count to ten or take some deep breaths, but when my dragon saw it in the book it like the lightbulb went off. Now, does he still have meltdowns- absolutely however I remind him of Diggory Doo and some points from the book. I have also purchased three other books and will order the remaining books we do not have very soon. This series is great for parents, but even more for our struggling dragons. Thank you Steve Herman for this series and helping my wonderful little dragon!

10/10 yes
My 8 year old son has anxiety and loved this book. We just read it for the first time today but When he got to the last page and saw the other Dragon books listed, he was immediately asking to get more. I love it because of the realistic scenarios that the characters discussed feeling anxious about. My son could relate to most, if not all of them. This book was a great way for us to casually discuss the anxiety he may feel, without his emotions overwhelming the conversation. I will definitely recommend it to parents of kids struggling with any level of anxiety. I’m sure we will read it again and again.

Wonderful resource for my 9 year old son
My 9 year old son struggles with anxiety and I’ve been trying so many different things to reach him. I know what tools that he needs to use to help him through, but he doesn’t want to hear it from ME. So I tried this book. Let me tell you- he loved it! He identified with it and recalled situations in which he could have used the skills to help him calm down. He also asked for the teach your dragon to love himself book… because he thinks it would be good for him. Thank you for this product, from the bottom of my heart!

Helps a bit
The book is a little helpful. Not a miracle worker but I appreciate how it gives my son a way to talk about the dragon feeling anxious without directly talking about a human boy feeling anxious. Another book I tried was of an anxious boy and my son couldn’t handle that one. Made him more nervous. Next I’m going to try the separation anxiety book

great read for my anxious 5 year old.
the book is amazing, it’s so simple but yet genius. It helps my son put into perspective that anxiety isn’t a part of who he is but is something he lives with. Makes it better to control it than being overpowered by it. I don’t know if that makes sense but it’s a favorite at our home.

We LOVE Diggory Doo!!
My 8 year old deals with anxiety and we have tried everything! Once she read this she fell in love with Diggory Doo. She asked for more books with him in it to help her deal with going back to school. Another added bonus which has helped her is the coloring pages! Now only if the author could come out with a stuffed Diggory Doo hint hint! I HIGHLY recommend these books especially because there seems to be a book for everything our kids go though. The world is hard enough these books to me as an adult make it easier for my kid to be a kid.

Love this series!!
My 8 year old son and 3 year old daughter love the “dragon” books. My son has ADHD and anxiety. He really connected with this book, it was the first one in the series that we purchased. We now have all of them on Kindle! We read them at least 4-5 times a week, he picks which one based on his feelings that he had that day! He will read them over and over! Illustrations are great, as well as the message! Thank you Steve Herman!

This author manages to word these stories in a way that engages children and makes them think. Just being told the rules by parents often doesn’t sink in but of these rules and techniques are explained within a story they can be relatable and make your child stop and think. My daughter sits with her toy dragon and will use the stories in these books through play, reciting and using the ideas within

Amazing story for any kid to read through, and a great way to teach your kids about how to cope and deal with anxiety.Gives some good ways to help with anxiety and thoughts that go in that direction.Really cute idea for a book. I’m glad I purchased it.Definitely recommend for anyone honestly. Especially those with young kids.

Explains real and difficult subjects in a way kids can understand and connect with- it’s the imaginary dragon who struggles with these things, which is a nice way of addressing these topics. The books teach REAL coping mechanisms, which build emotional intelligence.I’m a big fan of the Whole Brain Child, and I think the dragon books are a great addition to whole brain parenting. My kids are 4 and 6 and really enjoy them, and seem to benefit on an emotional level.
