Works- Easy Plug and Play Solution
Works great so far!It’s a little smaller than the original on my FGHD2465NF1A Frigidaire dishwasher.No matter, it was plug and play, and I’ve run 2 loads so far.Very easy fix, once you get the dishwasher hauled out.Fixed “UO or VO” for “vent open” the problem of the bad optical chip, which tells the dishwasher if vent is open or not.I was tempted to buy some cheaper off brand ones, or even just the new chip, but this just seemed like the safest bet and quickest fix. I’d rather not have to pull the dishwasher out again.

What you would expect of a OE part
Replacement for a 8 year old dishwasher. After installation, no issues to report. Being that this is the “official” part, I’m glad it worked without problem as there isn’t a lot of complexity to the part. Of note : the dimensions are a bit smaller than the original unit, but the vent itself was the same size and used the same locking ring (which was not included).Hoping this lasts as long if not longer than the original.

Fixed the UO alarm on my Frigidaire dishwasher.
Was intermittently getting a UO alarm on my dishwasher and noticed it wasn’t finishing cycles. A little research and discovered that it is normally a vent issue. This unit is smaller than the original but it is the correct part. Install is very simple and takes a half hour, an hour if you have to disconnect the power (when I installed my dishwasher I left slack on all the lines so I could remove the unit without having to disconnect). The part was listed here much cheaper than other vendors.

Awesome code UO fix
I fix everything myself. Found fan here to fix my dishwasher that I let the warranty run out. Don’t carry the DTE home warranty either. Would have cost about the same for DTE to fix it but I would be paying more for the upgraded plan monthly anyway. So I saved replacing it myself. Since I installed the washer it was no issue. Perfect fit was just 25% smaller design than original size. Works great! Washing dishes again. Wife is happy. I’m happy

This product fixed my error code UO, which means vent open. Our dishwasher stopped in the middle of cycles and then started stopping multiple times when I would open and then close the washer door to get it to start again. I’m glad this part is replaceable and didn’t mean that I needed a whole new dishwasher!

Did not arrive with instructions but was simple to reach inside tub and disconnect the retainer ring. Reattaching takes a little muscle. It’s a little smaller than the original part but looks and works the same. More life for my dishwasher!
