Most wonderful thing I’ve added to my kitchen. Does everything. It’s easy to clean, easy to use. I also bought one for my granddaughter who also loves it. Perfect for apartments, dorm rooms and my own kitchen. Quality is great. Don’t have to have a bunch of separate appliances on your counter, don’t need to use your oven for small items. We love it!

Love this air fryer combination appliance. It’s versatility is just what I’ve been looking for. I love the grill function as well. It actually grilled a nice, seasoned ribeye steak and tasted much better than expected. The air fryer basket is much bigger than most conventional air fryers and the appliance actually looks nice on the countertop.

I shopped around for so long before I settled on this Cuisanart Air Fryer/Toaster Oven. I’ve fallen in love with it! This Cuisanart does so many things and does them well. Air Fries, Toasts, Broils, Bakes, Grills and Warms!! I’ve made so many things and all of it has turned out great. The Air Fryer makes delicious and crispy potatoes and Brussels Sprouts and flaky fish. I’ve grilled burgers and steaks that came out juicy. I’ve baked Banana Bread in this and it turned out moist and delicious. Everything comes out perfectly cooked. And the cooking/baking time is cut down! And it comes with a handy cooking guide that even has recipes in it. This has been a great purchase that I regularly use and highly recommend. And one of my favorite aspects of this particular unit is that the baking tray also goes under the air fryer basket eliminating any dripping or mess in your air fryer! Amazing. And clean up so far has been a breeze. All the pieces that come with the unit clean easily. I really can’t say enough good things about this Cuisanart product. Lastly, I love the size of this unit. I have limited counter space and this fits perfectly, while being large enough to cook decent sized meals in. It’s been a perfect purchase.

Originally this was a 5* review. This is an update after about 14 months of use.Pros:Overall, it’s a wonderful appliance. Nothing I cooked came out poorly. I used it for lots of things. I got mine at a very reasonable price. A vast improvement over other methods of cooking. With one exception, I’ve been very happy with it. I liked the dials, the SS, even its presence on my kitchen counter. It did everything it was supposed to do, and did it well. It wasn’t hard to learn and understand the settings.So why have I dropped a star and switched to another brand? Well…Con:It’s a pain in the you-know-what to clean. It vaporizes any oil and spreads it throughout the interior which has lots of nooks and crannies. Since I cooked a lot of chicken in mine with the skin on, that meant cleaning it constantly. You aren’t supposed to use a scrubby and they just recommend a light soapy water. After awhile, the joy of using it became more of a chore.I’ve since switched to another highly rated brand where what’s cooked is in tempered glass, which can be put in the dishwasher or hand-washed, a much easier process.Your mileage may certainly vary. You may not cook the same things I do.I would give this 4 1/2 stars because it really does everything well. But it’s too much like cleaning your microwave or regular oven every time you use it. It’s not like cleaning a pot or a pan.

The presence of two separate timers—one for baking and the other for toasting—adds to its convenience. Safety is also a top priority, as we have encountered no issues in that regard. It’s worth noting that the oven tends to geerate some heat, so ensuring proper ventilation is key, as highlighted in the instructions. Admittedly, there is a slight learning ccurve involved in mastering all the features, but once you get the hang of it, the benefits are truly rewarding. Not only does it prevent the kitchen from heating up like a traditional oven, but it also consumes less power. Overall, we are grateful for discovering this gem that has truly elevated our cooking experience.

Does EVERYTHING; Does it WELL; AND, Fits where its predecessor Toaster Oven fit!
We’ve had this appliance for 2 weeks and tried every function except broiling. We were particularly interested in how well it works as both a convection oven and an “air fryer.” It works spectacularly well in both modes … it appears to be a bit faster in convection mode!We have it on a small counter top 16.5 inches wide x 25.5 inches deep. Before finding this Cuisinart “all-in-one” replacement, we’d had a Cuisinart toaster oven that served us well for many years (Amazon ASIN: B004JMZGM2). When it had given its all, we were simply going to replace it with the same. BUT, we enjoy using the small air fryer gifted to us and wanted to find an “all-in-one” appliance. We ran into a sizing problem. All we found locally were too wide for the allocated space.Then, I was cruising Amazon for a replacement toaster oven and came across this Cuisinart. I was ecstatic to note that the width was the same as the plain toaster over, although the “all-in-one” is taller (if you buy it, you need to make sure you have adequate clearance).As with everything electronic these days, this appliance does take a bit of learning. ALL dials must be set correctly for the desired function; including plain old toasting! BUT, once you master it, you will be very happy.One observation – the top of the appliance has four heating elements while the bottom has only two, spaced apart. I believe that toasting is somewhat different on top and bottom.I hope it lasts many years!

Best thing I have ever done for myself. NO more bending to open the oven door, because it is now counter height, easy to clean, food is good cooking/tasting with either the Grill; Bake; Air fry… I have tried them all, and I can’t say that I have a favorite, because my dinner/lunch/breakfast tastes are different and change all the time…and are suited to ME!The toast feature, is iffy, with different types of bread. I find a little experimenting is the choice I would suggest, if unsure? Makes a mean NAAN bread Pizza- mmm- the cheese melting on top, chef’s kiss 🙂 Thanks. And it is VERY powerful. 1800w…is a bit much and I am nervous that I will blow all the fuses in my condo Building….not too worry though it’s all good~ and this appliance does not get overly hot. Easy to move, clean, looks okay on the counter..you will need to purchase your own, to compare. Thanks

This Cuisinart actifryer seems to be well made, sturdy and of good materials . It has a very well laid out , easy to read, informative instruction manual. It was well boxed and padded securely for shipping. It comes with an oven rack, baking pan, actifryer basket and grill plate. It has an indicator light and a safety feature that temporarily stops heating when the door is opened. All the cooking plates and racks are very sturdy, well made and seem of good materials. I am impressed that it has a rubber (?) seal that runs along the inside of the bottom of the door that I presume stops any heat from escaping while in operation. All the racks and plates fit securely and easily into their respective slots. It does not slip around on the counter. It certainly seems very solid in its construction. So far, I have only used the bake feature to cook a frozen cabbage roll dish and it came out perfectly. It has 8 cooking features which I am looking forward to using and I am confident that they will perform well. My only criticism is that the function dial lettering is extremely close together and, for me, I find it a little confusing as to which cooking feature I have actually selected, but once I have used this actifryer more frequently, it will be more familiar to me. In six years, I have purchased two other different brands of actifryers which between them only lasted 6 years. I hope it lasts longer than the 2 other brands. I decided on this Cuisinart brand because I have a Cuisinart indoor grill that has performed perfectly for over 4 years and is still working well. So far, I am very pleased with this purchase. 5 stars.
