Last weekend, I decided to try out my new Ecoself Juicer by making a fresh blend of pineapple and apple juice, and it turned out to be an amazing experience. The process was quick, easy, and surprisingly satisfying.After peeling and cutting the pineapple into chunks and slicing the apples, I fed the pieces into the Ecoself Juicer one by one. I bought this to juice pomegranates from our two bushes. It works great. Easy to clean. The little brush has a flat end to help rinse out the discharge side. A small orange and 2 cups of pomegranate seeds made a nice container of juice. A nice tidy size.

So far, so good! Unboxed, assembled, one juice made! Read and follow the assembly instructions. The lid must be unlatched in order to seat and lock the juicer compartment. I didn’t remember to do this and ended up frustrating myself. Super handy safety feature- if you unlatch the lid the motor stops, so if you need to scrape the sides (mango skins don’t get sucked into the screw) you won’t accidentally hurt yourself, the machine, or any utensil you use.I used one chuncked up cucumber, a half of a lime (too much, don’t recommend!) and a healthy slice of mango. It worked better than I expected, faster than I expected, and I was surprised to see the amount of juice that I got. The pulp was fairly dry and, my penny pinching self thinks it might be useful to save the pulp for vegetable soup stock, fruit leather or a fruit compote/jam of some kind. So extra value for the money if you can find a way to use the pulp. The small grinds are also great for the compost heap.The whole thing disassembles for pretty easy cleaning. No report on durability as of yet. More at a later date, if I remember, or someone asks a further question at some point.

I have been avoiding buying juicers because they are bulky, noisy and hard to clean.ECOSELF just changed this stigma. It is quiet, more compact and quite easy to rinse and brush out the smaller gaps.The price is reasonable. I would recommend it to anyone.

Super easy to assemble, disassemble and to clean. Labor intensive cutting up food.
The ad for this juicer is extremely misleading. It appears you can add whole fruits in multiple quantities. False. There’s a very narrow opening which requires cutting all fruits and veggies into small pieces.If you can handle the extra cutting then everything else works great. Without a metal blade this juicer delivers. The best part is that it’s so easy to clean. It doesn’t require brushing a mesh strainer with bits of food stuck to it. There’s no mesh and everything else is made of hard plastic. The only cleaning issue I had was ginger root fragments stuck in the fiber shoot. I had to use a different brush than the one provided (mine was very thin with a thin wire brush) to dislodge the root fiber. Other than that it’s super easy to assemble and disassemble. Definitely worth the price.
