One of the best!
When you actually use the book the way you’re supposed to it’s one of the best tools I have to keep myself organized with my finances, lol. Here’s what I find most valuable:1. Finance goals – there is a short section where you can list what your goals are in the beginning of the book. Next to it there is also a section where you can detail what you need to do to meet those goals.2. Checklist – this is great for listing out what you want or need to get done for the month. It’s a short list of about 10 things so that means you have to prioritize. For each thing you get done you can check off the circle next to it.3. THE CALENDAR 🙌🏽✅️ – I NEEDED this. Seeing exactly what I have to pay and when puts everything into perspective. *** I actually went and put the total amount I’d be spending each week in the margin space next to the calendar to keep me from buying unnecessary items.4. Monthly budget page – Here is where you lay out everything you plan to make payments on along with the expected amount. The book neatly sections your most likely expenses into categories for you. You write what you’re paying (Verizon), how much you expect to pay ($65), and then once it’s paid how much the actual payment came out to be ($50). At the bottom of the section you add up all the expected amounts, then all the actual amounts, and subtract the two to get what’s left over.5. The Expense tracker – OMG I needed this part too 😭 lol. If you happen to be an impulsive spender like me this will help you prioritize. This, to me, was the most intimidating portion of the book because, 1. you have to be diligent in recording every purchase you make, online and in person, cash and card. The tracker can’t help you if you don’t keep up with this. And 2. the expense pages show you just how much money is flowing out in comparison to what’s coming in. It’s not easy to look at an issue of your own making, but the silver lining is once you see it you realize things. For me it was that I actually do have enough money to take care of all my monthly necessities, it just looked otherwise because I kept spending it on wants.and finally 6. & 7. the Saving and Debt trackers – These pages give you room to list out things you want to save for (a new tv, cheer camp, whatever 😊) and debts you owe and take on (old and new subscriptions, online store installments, etc.). For Savings you write what you’re saving for (dishwasher), the amount needed ($1000), and the due date at the top. underneath this you can list each deposit, the date you made it, and an updated balance. For Debts you write the debt name (Affirm), the starting balance ($100), and the minimum payment ($15) at the top. Below this you write the amount paid, the date you paid it, and the updated balance. These are the only sections of the book I’ve used so far. At the end of the month there is also a Monthly Budget Review and Spending Analysis page where math is involved and being honest with yourself is necessary. All in all I love this tracker/ budget book. It’s beautiful, functional, and well worth the purchase. The only thing I would change are some of the stickers that come with it. I’ve never liked sayings such as “live below your means” because it always felt like people were telling me to be satisfied with being poor. More stickers that promote a healthy positive attitude towards money and money management would be greatly appreciated 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.Lovely product. I would definitely recommend it.

A Practical Tool for Taking Control of Your Finances
I’ve been using the Clever Fox Budget Planner for several months now, and it’s made a noticeable difference in how I manage my money. The planner’s layout is straightforward, guiding me through setting financial goals, tracking expenses, and reviewing monthly budgets. The inclusion of savings and debt trackers has been particularly helpful in visualizing my progress. The quality of the planner is impressive. The hardcover feels durable, and the thick paper prevents ink from bleeding through. The added features like the pen loop, elastic closure, and inner pocket for receipts are thoughtful touches that enhance usability. While the planner is comprehensive, I did find that the space for daily expense tracking could be a bit limited if you have numerous transactions. However, for most users looking to gain better control over their finances, this planner offers a balanced mix of structure and flexibility. It’s a valuable tool for anyone aiming to budget effectively and achieve their financial goals.

Budgeting Must-Have
Budgeting must-have. This is the second year I’ve used these books and it keeps me on track. Savings has increased and bills have been paid off because I see where my money is going and where I am on attaining my goals.

Still a work in progress.
I purchased two of these and honestly, wish I had bought 1 for now. I feel a little bit misled. But not in a bad way. The person that set the one up that you see as you are about to purchase it. Has this set up so nice and appears to be really easy to use. So if that person could have set up mine like that? I’d probably be happy. LolIn truth you have to figure this out yourself. I was in banking for 30 years & normally just used your simple generic checkbook register and back in the day might have used Quicken or Quick books pro. And helped a lot of people set up various methods to track their spending, savings, etc… But honestly, have never really used a journal like this one. I hesitated with my stars up there because I am not sure I would call this one for beginners? But maybe that’s just me. I guess what I do not feel I need in this particular budget planner are the whole page sections like My Mind Map? Seriously? I actually really did write down in mine, “It a maze, But one I am working on.” Trust me I do not need a road map for what’s in my head. A whole page with little sections for My Financial Goals? Really? Uh, mine are the same as they have always been. Always set aside money in savings, to have for emergencies, special trips, just to have, etc…. I also do not feel that I need pages dedicated to My strategy, My tactics, or actions I will take to cut my expenses. I guess I was looking for more of an actual ledger where I can list income, I do like the section for the monthly household expenses. Monthly budget page is nice. And I like the page in between months for notes & ideas. Because that’s handy to have for various things. I feel there are to many full pages dedicated to expense tracker. I mean if you need these areas, then this might be perfect for you. I love the look and feel of it. It’s a very nice size to keep track of these things. I guess overall, I would just prefer more pages to actually use as if it were like a checkbook register. I can list and see money going out and money coming in. That’s really all I need to see. As for the notes section? I can list right there any areas we need to work on, cut back on expenses, etc.. It also has stickers you can use which I find really cool and a few marker ribbons so you can mark the spot or up to 3 spots you may just want to flip right to and make an entry. I would recommend it based on the things I just said and if that is what you are looking for. I guess I just didn’t pay that much attention or again the person setting up the one for you to see how to use it, really did do a good job on that. Because it made it look at though it was already set up and ready to use. I do not mind customizing this to suit my needs. But I would rather have more pages dedicated to actually listing each individual expense or income vs the entire pages of what would have been sufficient if it were just a paragraph size. Like the calendar pages as well before I forget. Overall it is very nice, looks very nice, I like the strap to keep the whole book closed to prevent losing receipts, etc… much like my tablet case. Overall, again I just wish it were a little bit better. So I am not recommending you not get one, just really look through the photos better than I did. To make sure this is what you are looking for. I would recommend it. And maybe I will like it better once I set it up my way. Price was comparable to other similar items and is a really good quality book. And again worth recommending, just was looking for a little something different and thought this was the one for me. Still could be, but still, loss of a lot of pages that would have been more useful to me in other ways. I hope this helps anyone.

Paper quality is good, but a lot of the items were already filled in. Did not work tot me. I started to use CF’s Bill Organizer instead, which has only the categories filled in. Works beter tot me

Brilliant stuff! It’s simple and clear, very intuitive. We started budgeting today and it immediately highlighted areas of our budget that needed to be modified. I’ll keep an eye on it over the next year, but I can already say that I recommend this notebook.

Omggggggg I’m so excited. Ok so I need to breath to tell you all I’m about to. I’m a big fan of fox products and they have some super amazing products. Firstly the price is ridiculous – for such a gorgeous product. This budget planner is available in various sizes and so many colours. Soft to touch with high quality paper. It’s broken up into easy sections which allow you to better organise yourself. At the end of this planner there’s a folder in which we find the glossy bright stickers they will definitely come in handy. There’s also examples of each section and what you should be thinking of writing to fill that. How amazing is that. This is a red planner I got mine in A5 size – easy to store away into your desk or handbag. There are 3 ribbons of various hues of red and pink which can be used to mark pages. It has a 60day no hassle refund. How many places would take that financial risk??? Unless they knew that their products were of an incredibly high standard and that people would love them. This tiny planner packs a huge punch- you’d think with its small size how could they possibly include everything. So what do we haveGlitzy useful stickersIt’s a budget planner for the entire year! It’s undatedMonthly expenses, reviews and calendarDebt trackerMoney goals and affirmationsStrategies and tactics about how your going to do thatMost important savings trackerA small elastic attachment to which you can easily fit a pen.Elastic band to close the planner so nothing slips out unexpectedlyWhat I look forward to is buying a completely different colour next year. It’s great for family budgeting and those with small businesses. Even those who are generally very bad at managing their moneyCheck out the photos and the video for further ideasLove love loveRecommendWould buy again
