Easy to use
My friend has been trying to sell me on the benefits of turmeric for a while, but whole I’ a fan of the smell, especially in clay face masks and soaps, it’s not something I eat much. So I was happy to find a liquid pill option to try. These are black capsules that are easy to swallow (well, as well as any capsule of this size), and they don’t feel like they get stuck on the way down. I was surprised at feeling more energy and more positive after I first started using these – they definitely boosted my mood at first. I like that this comes woth 60 pills, and is reasonably priced for something from Whole Foods.

Easy to take and taste better than expected
These are liquid capsules which I wasn’t expecting but am pleasantly surprised by as they are definitely easier to swallow than those massive dry pills that can be scratchy. I do like that it is only 1-2 per day instead of 3+ like other brands I have tried, so the bottle does go further which is great as they aren’t that inexpensive (though much more affordable if only taking 1 per day!). Ingredients are fine, nothing strange added which is always preferred and what I look for in a supplement. One big reminder for anyone looking to improve their health, if you have issues with iron absorption do not take turmeric!

It’s turmeric alright!
I have a lot of friends that swear by turmeric for health benefits, so, I decided to try it out. I haven’t noticed much change in my body since I started but I kinda like the taste of the capsules these use. (odd, I know)I’ll keep using this stuff for another month or so and update my review if there’s any changed in how I feel before, during, and after.

Whole foods for the win
These are great — I don’t taste them, they’re not too big, and the price point is right.I can’t determine if these have had a direct impact on my health as it’s part of a broader supplement regimen, but I haven’t had any adverse or unexpected outcomes.Happy to have these in my health care routine to stay energetic and healthy!

Only 95mg curcuminoids
This is a good curcumin product. It’s a blend of several different curcumin extracts. Each capsule provides: 400mg organic turmeric extract (this isn’t standardized), turmeric extract standardized to 95mg curcuminoids, 50mg turmeric C02 extract standardized to 20mg tumerones, and 5mg piperine.I like that this product contains a blend of different curcumin extracts, though the stars of the show are definitely the curcumin extract and the turmerone extract. The 5mg piperine will enhance bioavailability. That said, 100mg curcumin extract is a low dosage, and many other curcumin extracts offer 1000mg curcumin per serving. If the organic turmeric extract (400mg) was standardized, then I would feel better about it, but it sounds to me like this could just be standard turmeric powder.Still, it’s a high quality product and it is a nice blend of various different extracts. But with so many clinically studied, high bioavailability curcumin products out there, this one just doesn’t stand out enough for me to be my favorite.

This is as good as whole Turmeric without the staining or earthy taste, really helps with inflammation. I’ve had inflammation in my neck area, not the spine, but in the trapezius area. While this helps, what really worked for me was SAMe (S-Adenosyl methionine,) completely eliminated it. If you respond well to using Turmeric, then this is a good choice, but you’ll need to figure out for your individual situation the dosage and cost comparison between ground / powered whole food bottles or supplement form like this.

Weird smell
The first moment I opened the bottle I smelled weird smell, I tried one capsule, it was easy to swallow but it tasted awful. For the price, this supplement is overprice comparing to other brands.

Capsules are easy to take
I decided to give this a try to see if it would help as an Anti-inflammatory to ease some of my aches and pains. I took 1 capsule with lunch three days in a row and didn’t notice any improvement. Unfortunately my stomach hasn’t felt quite right since, so I stopped taking this supplement. Maybe it just isn’t for me.
